Lol at people blaming the run game. . Our run game wasn't all that last year, we just fed Murray until his socks fell off. Romo and our offense helped our run game a ton! And our defense was decent enough to win games.

Give Randle and McFadden time with Romo running the offense and see how our running game improves.

No our run game was all that last year. Seriously! Its the reason why Romo had a great year and probably his best ever. Lets stop being in denial about our run game. Its not nearly has effective because we have no one that can break tackles and run it up the middle. We have nothing more than change of pace backs that go down on the slightest of hits and can hardly break tackles. They are good home run hitters and can take it to the distance. But we need someone like a Murray to pound the ball up the middle and put an extra man in the box to defend against the run. None of our RBs incite fear except when they catch the ball. But thats about it.

I think much of it falls to Michaels to make a big enough impression through out the week for the coaches to make the move to bring him up to the 45 man roster.

We have three screwdrivers when all we need is a hammer

We don't need 3 of the same types of runners. Wish we would have realized that before the draft and have gotten someone here that can pound it. I would rather see Michaels rather than Randle.

Murray was not worth the money philly paid him, even philly fans would probably agree with that now. BUT, Dallas needs their primary guy to finish off runs with more authority and I don't think Randle is the guy for that. Murray got those three and four yard gains by moving the pile. Randle can't do that consistently and DMC would get injured attempting to do that consistently. Michael has a better shot of being that guy than what we currently have.

He wasn't worth it to them , but he would have been worth it to is...

This is what people need to understand. There where 2 huge reasons we got to 12-4 last season. One was our dominate running game WITH a featured back. The other was Rolando McClains impact on the defense. We need to get both back!

Thus I don't understand why the didn't replace the type of back Murray was. They also went to a RBBC just because the Patriots used that same system. People forget that Patriots was a passing team and not a running team.

We were such an effective offense because teams didn't know whether we were going to run or pass on 3rd down and short. I don't think we have that dynamic anymore. They say if ain't broke don't fix it. We should have never experimented with the run game.

I agree. I was skeptic on the whole DeMarco Murray thing though. Watching him down the stretch I though he lost a lot of his burst. I thought it hurt this team a little and I thought we should have drafted a young back with fresh legs. I loved Tevin Coleman coming out this year but it didn't happen which is why I can't wait to see what C-Mike can do. I think people will be shocked that he isn't just a "goal-line bruiser". He has quickness, speed and some wiggle. He can catch and block too. He just needs to keep his head in the game.

Dunbar needs to be a keeper, I really like that kid out of the backfield and he's tougher than people think.

How we are reduced to hoping on rejects from the NFL. Al off them midgets.
But by not paying Murray, gee Jerra, look at the money you saved by bringing in journeymen this year when last year we had a stallion. Shame! J'Accuse!

ONE word = hammy

That's the award given every year to the most consistently non-contact, soft-tissue injured player in the league, right?

The Hammy

I heard they recommissioned the statue to be in the likeness of Miles Austin.
I could have named a couple better options myself...
