The only scam is Directv trying to charge people for something they're already paying for with Superfan.

Well, these guys aren't REALLY thinking about cancelling their DirecTV... they just say they are, and get the goodies...

I call that a scam... but in all fairness, it's a scam that DirecTV has to know about, and they're apparently cool with it; I was just bein' playful with that observation...

Even so, I won't scam DirecTV, the SuperFan package isn't that big a deal to me... hi def football is great, but the Boys are on the DC local station a lot of the time (those are my local stations in this area), and I get those in hi def... and of course, any time they're on MNF or ESPN, that's hi def too... I'll bet I get at least a dozen of their games in hi def...

Called in today like a lot of people have and asked nicely and got Superfan for free. Also asked nicely and got 3 months of HBO free, just in time for Hard Knocks.
