I'm a big fan of Kevin Johnson. Hell, I'm probably driving the bandwagon.

I am not so sure there, size wise we want a Brown, fight wise we want Grady. Both would fit well into our Defensive scheme. Hard to not fall in love with either IMO. Remember for the last couple of years our best in the forum normally get maybe one and possibly two draft picks correct. This year I think we have downplayed the Oline talent available and we are going to get blindsided in the 3rd or 4th rd. Just spit balling nothing to back this up.
Last year the Shazier love was well camouflaged not sure but looks like an absence of Defensive line Valley Ranch visits is suspicious.

Everyone has their opinion. To me Brown has a 1st round grade, while Grady has a 3/4.

I think Jarrett is interesting. He really reminds me of La'Roy Glover a lot. He's not as stout against the run but he is very disruptive off the snap. He is not Malcolm Brown and I would not take him over Brown. To me, Brown is a three down player and Jarrett is not. This is not to say that I would not like taking Jarrett. He has value if you can get him in the 2nd day but I think Brown is better. Of course, he's a 1st rd guy so you have to weight the value.

I don't buy these draft grades. I like to project where the players will be 3-4 years from now. The best 4-3 DT's are usually 6"1/6"2 and around 300 pounds. Being 6"4 like Malcolm brown is a disadvantage for him. I don't like the leverage he plays with. I like two DT's that are quick and can penetrate.

There have been a ton of very successful DT,s that were bigger than what you have described. It's a big boy game down in the trenches.
