He was suppose to have short arms and 320 lbs, weighs 295? That certainly hurts his stock

and once again his tape shows more than inches and pounds.

its the same where players who had little production but shine in the underwear olympics. just differnt sides of the same coin. The top NFL people will pretty much ignore it. Jethro and company probably take it as gospel

 :thumbup:So you are saying there is a chance he falls. I think Graham got himself in shape for the combine. The kid will be back to 320 by the end of April.

When looking at a top 10 pick size and length matters. Wouldn’t be surprised if he slides at all.

The further along we get the better I feel about someone like him or Tet falling.

One thing to remember: the top ten is full of teams with bad GMs a lot of the time; the kind that forty times and all that outweigh tape. So yeah Graham could fall.

Graham's tape is just too good for me to not draft him top 10.

He reminds me of a defensive Zeke, in a weird way. Zeke would put his head down going into a packed LOS, and always eke out 1 or 2 more yards than you thought he would. He never went backwards. Graham's likewise just never goes backwards. It's hard to stop a guy when he doesn't take negative plays.

When a DT spends 2 years just stacking good plays against quality competition, I don't freak out over 5 pounds at a weigh-in. Who knows what he played at, but it was working.

I agree, but some teams have distinct parameters at the position, length is huge but also some teams like their DT's to be over 300.

295 is the parameter that teams are looking for in a 3tech, not 320. They all realize he’s going to be 305 after 6 months in an NFL weight training program.. 295 is as much a non factor as the flavor of bubble gum he prefers!

how much you gain depends on the college program you go to. The best at turning out o linemen like Notre Dame and Wisconsin and Iowa have near pro level weight training programs. Now if you are talking about someone from Troy, etc then you can expect a significant weight increase and also strength increase. And gaining ten percent of your body mass is significant.
I do not know how good Michgian's weight training program is but I cannot see such a major program having a bad one.
