Total guaranteed is the most “true” number, in my opinion and that’s held by Josh Allen at $250,000,000

Jerry also isn’t a very good negotiator. When you wait until the last minute, you lose all leverage and end up giving in to the agent’s demands. A lot of that comes from his lack of football acumen and not having the right people in place to negotiate effectively on his behalf.

If I were an agent, I’d love negotiating against an 80-year-old owner who’s clearly over his head when it comes to today’s NFL. That’s an easy win every time.

We have a top heavy roster. Totally lacking in depth, and at this point, full of holes on defense.

We also probably don't have a single highly paid player - outside of maybe Lamb - who is deserving of his contract. Dak isn't, Tyler Smith certainly wasn't this past season, and no longer automatic Aubrey doesn't deserve it, either. He's not the best kicker, don't pay him like he is.

Plus, we have a # of guys - like Osa and Ferguson - who are total jags, getting paid like stars because our front office aggrandizes mediocre draft picks by giving them 2nd contracts and pretending like they're key pieces to a championship puzzle. They'd rather pay a jag like Jake Ferguson, than admit they suck at drafing.

How is it changing the goal posts? I literally said he can’t make the playoffs or even stay healthy. What is wrong with that statement? Everyone knows Bengals best year was the year they beat Chiefs and went to the SB. It’s been 4 years since that. And he also didn’t carry them it was the defense and Burrow did make timely throws. Not saying he was bad I’m just saying it’s been awhile since hes “played elite”.
