Ok so you're the 3rd or 4th person to cut my statement off. MY post had more than one sentence in it.

The statement made was Burrow has played elite in the playoffs. Mahomes has been elite. I'd even say Jalen Hurts has been elite in the SB. The SB Run Bengals had....he was good in It but to call it elite is a stretch.

Everyone knows Bengals best year was the year they beat Chiefs and went to the SB. It’s been 4 years since that. And he also didn’t carry them it was the defense and Burrow did make timely throws. Not saying he was bad I’m just saying it’s been awhile since hes “played elite”.

Plus, we have a # of guys - like Osa and Ferguson - who are total jags, getting paid like stars because our front office aggrandizes mediocre draft picks by giving them 2nd contracts and pretending like they're key pieces to a championship puzzle. They'd rather pay a jag like Jake Ferguson, than admit they suck at drafing.

I still can’t believe they didn’t go after Josh Sweat, who was a terror for Philly, and instead gave that ridiculous contract to Osa. Osa is making more than Sweat. Osa had only about three sacks last year compared to Sweat’s 12.

Josh Allen plays so stupid in the playoffs but I don't know why they think he can just take a team by himself and win. He needs help. If Mahomes needs help why do they think Josh Allen doesn't?

They all need help. But Allen seems to have bad luck. if the WR holds on to the ball, the bills probably pay the Seahawks in the SB.

Had the bills head coach not had a mental midget moment back in 2021 by kicking off through the endzone against the chiefs, the bills go to the championship game.

Seems like you like others believe you are the smartest in the room. When I talk football with you guys I make post assuming we are all on the same level. So if you made a statement saying this draft sucks for quarterbacks….id assume you aren’t throwing Mendoza in that bunch. I wouldn’t question it

Just curious if I said to you that Amari Cooper sucks would you assume I meant his whole career or the last few years?

Burrow got hurt last year. Missed the playoffs. The year before that played at a high level but the defense was bad. Year before that was hurt. Burrow is a top 5 qb in this league who seems to have lost his love for the game or for Cincy.

We all know that Burrow is injury prone but most of us know and REMEMBER him playing at an elite level all the way to a SB waaaaaaay back in 2022.

I'm on the fence on this one. Do I think Aubrey helps the Cowboys? Yes. Do I think, given the other needs of this team, we should be have the highest paid kicker in the league? No.
There seems to be a new breed of kickers coming into the league that makes what Aubrey does less impressive.
That being said, if the Cowboys sign him, I'm still happy.

The new kicking rules have pretty much allowed everyone to kick 60 yard field goals. It’s a scary place to be without a kicker so I get it but it’s not scary enough to commit big money into a kicker.

Its almost universally accepted that the 4 elite NFL current QBs are Mahomes. Allen, Burrow and Lamar in the regular season

3 have been elite in the playoffs at some point and 1(Lamar) has seldom been ever elite in the playoffs.

But in 2022 ( current decade) Joe ( oft-injured and oft-sacked) Burrow was elite all the way to the SB.
