Great game..agree with all the positive analysis.

Not trying to be negative but JJ still didn't look like last year to me.

Doesn't make hardly anyone miss - elusive RBs should make over 50% of the 1st tackler miss (in a one on one situation).

Doesn't look as quick to the hole.

On the run where he broke free, he needed one move to score and tried to take the Emmitt approach by staying outside and using the stiff arm.

Remember the games last year where you would see JJ use his (then) amazing feet to side-step the first tackler or two ala Barry Sanders (the Sunday night game when Theisman compared him to Barry).

Hasn't happened once this year.

Oh well-hopefully he will get going.

What is his ypc compared to last year?

He only played one half too. Julius will be gashing teams soon enough I think.

I was at the game. JJ looks good to me 75yds in 1st half. I was making great cuts. The only thing I am noticing is he is getting up slow. I think his head is a little scrambled. Maybe hiding a reocuring concusion.

I don't know what JJ you're watching, but I see the same weapon we had last season, with a little bit better blocking and receiving/route running. However, he can't block for himself, so the offensive line has to stop holding guys everytime he breaks a long run. Plus, defenses are scared to death of him, so they let Bledsoe pick them apart instead, which is fun as hell to watch. But JJ will start seeing more friendly defensive formations starting this week. (By the way, didn't he have 73 yards in the first half against Philly? Sheesh, what else do you want?!)

Couldn't disagree more... JJ looked quicker and more explosive than he has all season... I have every reason to believe he would have gashed filthy for another hefty amt. in the second half if needed and not banged up.

I am not buying the excuse that he has had a lot of rushing yards nullified due to holding penalties.

If they kept the stat, I would guess he has had 'lost' fewer yards than most RBs.

Sorry, there has not been one rush by JJ this year where I said WOW. There were probably over 10 last year.

He's had alot of runs called back because of penalties. Not in the Eagles game, but just about every other one. He also broke off a 25 yd run against the Eagles, his longest of the season. He'll be okay, don't worry.
