Was this the play where the ref had to escort Hall to the sidelines? He was pissed and I thought he was being ejected, but the ref just pushed him to the sidelines. Ataboy Columbo!

No. That happened when TO caught the coffin corner on him.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that Colombo and Hall were at each other throughout the game.

On TO's first TD. Hall is whining to the refs and Colombo comes over to congratulate TO. Colombo's arm accidentally bumps Hall and Hall slaps his arm away.

The play in the GIF happened in the 2nd quarter.

On another play later in the game, Colombo and Hall got in a tussell that wound up costing Atlanta a 15 yard penatly. The ref called it on #91 but I believe he meant #21.

All I know is, I love Colombo. He is BIG and he GETS MEAN! Its been quite a long time that we've had an olineman that takes it to the Defense. The way he was slapping Julius Peppers around was just AWESOME!

Hall is an NFL CORNERBACK--maybe a nose tackle wouldn't have been able to stop or change direction around that pile, but a cornerback sure could have done it, if he wanted to. Hall's jump would've taken him over his teammates, and onto Barber, "accidentally." He is a punk. Good job, Columbo. Too bad Witten didn't see what was happening, he could've knocked Hall back the other way...

I like Columbo. We need some Erik Williams nasty on that Oline.

Hall looks like he runs face first into a brick wall. Good toss Columbo.

That video was awesome. Good for columbo for being aware even as the play was over. Plus i love it how he made it look so effortless.

For a second there it looks like Colombo seperates Hall's inner self from his body

Per Mickey Spags from the Ticket... Hall was mouthing off the Colombo as well as Owens. So... Colombo had an eye out for him

Nice study in applied physics. 320 lbs braced against the ground versus 200 lbs airborne = this video.
Of course, Hall probably thinks "physics" is what a "physician" does.

Why in the world is a CB mouthing off at an OT?

I have not seen it on here, but I know that if they had a jacked up contest for the entire year we could very well have #1 and #2.

I can't decide which one was worse between Newman and Austin!

Not awards you want to be a part of.

Newman seemed to take most direct, hardest, fastest shot....

The hit on Austin looks like it was absorbed a little by another cowboys player... not sure

:laugh2: that is true

and what a dubious distinction, too bad Newman gets more press because of that hit on ESPN than he does his play

Well, Newman definitely got the worst of it bewtween the two because he sat out a series clearing his head. Austin just hopped right back up.

If Hall had landed on Barber and injured him, it could've had an impact on the game also. Barber destroyed them late in the 4th quarter.

What a punk, when do we get them again ?
