Kosier actually has played solid, Larry is effective but larry is in the Pro Bowl because he's the Jerry Rice of guards and not because his season was exceptional, his reputation makes an average year go over the top, happened in 2003 for Allen as well.

Larry Allen was great, but the guy has no lateral movement now and all he does is lean his weight around.

I'm glad for Larry I like him and enjoyed watching him but it was the right move given the money Dallas would have had to pay for Larry. As for Kosier he has done a good job in Dallas. Your right Dallas has been able to using pulling guards and have been able to run screens as well something we have not been able to do for a long time.

Kosier get's pushed back by linebackers. He's the reason Romo makes half his throws rolling out to the right. As much flak as Rivera gets, and least he can hold his ground against guys 100 pounds lighter

Let's not sugar-coat Kossier. He's been above average at best at run-blocking and sub-par at best in pass-blocking. Letting Larry Allen go was a HUGE mistake. We could seriously use Larry Allen in the playoffs but will have to settle for the weak-link on our OL.

You obviously have not been looking close enough. Kosier is more athletic and I think more valuable than LA is now in his career. Kosier can pull w/ ease and doing a very fair job of it.

You don't pay a guard to be athletic. You pay him to kick ace and take names in the trenches. Allen did that better than anyone in the history of the game, and is still stronger than anyone in football. He can't outrun a stump, but if he get's his hands on you, you become a non factor on that play.

So you think we would have better or worse with him? Or is it just because you like to complain?

Kosier hasnt done anything bad, in fact he has been very good and guess what he is young and will be here for a while.

Also last time I checked our red zone and 3rd and 4th and short have been great.

I loved larry allen but it was time. I am happy for him though. But I dont think it was the wrong decision and I think they made a good one in kosier.
