LOL.
HeavyHitta31;1246956 said:If that's the case, then LA was always a terrible lineman. He was always one of the slower guards in footbal.

HeavyHitta31;1246963 said:pssst.....Yes he did. He named a backup
theogt;1246981 said:LOL. This is a hilarious thread. Allen didn't even make the pro-bowl.
Danny White;1246985 said:He's a reserve... which means he doesn't actually MAKE the pro bowl unless someone else drops out. But if everything stays as is, then he isn't considered a pro bowler.

Larry Allen was great, but the guy has no lateral movement now and all he does is lean his weight around.
Thanks, but no thanks.
Ozzu;1246991 said:Okay guys, he DID make the Pro Bowl. He was named on ESPN and the NFL Network. The website obviously has left the 3rd guard off the list.

Reserves go.
That's why three quarterbacks play in the game.
Dale;1247003 said:Maybe they left TO and Newman off too?
I saw him too, they used him like crazy and he can't take that many reps anymore, he wasn't worth a damn in the fourth quarter he missed several blocks but Gore is so outstanding a runner that it didn't matter. He also proved a great decoy on the Niners final touchdown, they pulled him and then ran through the hole he vacated after having trained the Seattle defense to flow toward Allen.eduncan22;1247002 said:That's not a true statement. I watched the 49ers/CHawks game a few nights ago.
Larry has excellent movement, especially on pulls.
He's not the fastest player out there, but can still "bust your arse" when he wants to.
Unless he's injured, etc....I'd expect Larry to play at least 2 more seasons.
