Greatest guitar line...

I knew there was a reason I didn't like the Rolling Stone mag....because they have no clue what the heck they are talking about.

Kirk Hammett, although a good guitarist, can not even hold Dave Mustaines jock and Dave is not even on that list....futhermore there is no way Kirk should be anywhere near the top of that list.

Plus how in the heck can you put Curt Cobain above players like...

Dave Mustaine
Jeff Beck
Carlos Santana
Buddy Guy
Dick Dale
Brian May
John Fogerty
Joe Perry
Pete Townshend
Dicky Betts
Eddie van Halen (noted he is listed at 70)
David Gilmour
Randy Rhoads (listed at 85)
Tony Iommi (listed at 86)
Angus Young (listed at 96)

I do not care if Cobain had a great influence on music with Nirvana...is someone going to tell me that some of those guys did not also have agreat influence (ala Joe Perry, Tony Iommi, Angus Young, Randy Rhoads).

Rolling stones mag is for alternative weenies lol

LMAO
Amen, rant on brother.

I like Jabs...but to be honest I do not even think he is the best Guitarist the Scorpions have ever had.

Jerry Garcia ahead of...Carlos Santana and Jeff Beck.

Keith Richard...GREAT rythmn guitarist...just listen to his track on Brown Sugar...but uh, hellllllo? Ahead of, Santa/Beck....

Bo Diddley ahead of Van Halen? :)

And how about Joe Satriani....Eric Johnson...Steve Vai not being on the list?

IMO Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson and Steve Vai should all be in the top 10-15

LOL, ya there's not a lot of difference between him and Shenkner probably.

I do like the Animal Magnetism album though.

While Michael Shenker was good... Jabs has as much ability and MUCH more style IMO...

I think their best songs are with Jabs on lead...but Uli Roth IMO was pretty wild...kind of out there but talented.

Yup, a lot of their early stuff is good. I quit listening after Blackout.

On the nosey...AND even though I really don't like his style and what he plays, Yngwie should be up there too...

Yngwie is very, very good, It just wears me out to listen to him for very long.

Yeah...me too...but really, a list that has George Harrison and not the likes to the guys we've mentioned? Kinda silly...

Heck, I'll even give them Chuck Berry because he was a pioneer...even though he wasn't very good...but some of the guys at the top of this list are a joke...
