That's what happens when you're not good enough. Players like Mawoya and others get penalties because they can't play.

And we handed them at least 3-4 first downs for penalties on 3rd down!!!!!!!!

First off, it was a sack so it can't be intentional grounding - it's one or the other. Secondly, there was no reason for Mayowa to lower his head and hit Rodgers when the ref was waving his arms over his head and blowing the whistle. Rodgers wasn't going anywhere. It's just a lineman trying to get in a shot, and he got flagged for it.

The refs didn't lose this game. A defense that forced one punt and produced zero turnovers lost this game.

You're mistaken, Jake.
The play was not blown dead. It was clear in the replay that the ref didn't blow the whistle, nor
did he wave his arms.

the play was blown dead, go back and watch the end. there is a reason after the penalty they got the ball at the 19. sacked at the 4 yard line plus 15 yards is at the 19.

gb did not have the ball at the 4 yard line to start that play.

no it was blown dead as a sack. that is why the ball was at the 19. it was a 15 yard penalty frim the spot of the sack. Even on live gameday they called it a sack.

No it wasn't. There was no whistle. The whistle was dreamed up after the fact. The play was live when Rodgers threw the ball.

How can it be both a sack and grounding?

Oh, it can't.

My verdict? Loss of credibility

There's a guy on Twitter who wouldn't let this argument go..I asked the same question

It's unbelievable how clueless people are

Both teams benefited and suffered from terrible personal foul calls.

No it wasn't. The play happened right in front of me and I watched it live.

No it was not. It was a sack..

It's obvious from watching the play..and the result of the foul

I understand the ref "said" the play was dead. I didn't see him actually wave it dead or whistle it dead.
But I will go back and look again, as you suggested.

That’s absolutely not what happened. Erin was trying to escape. Even made a throw to no receiver despite being clearly in the pocket.

To top it off he hardly made contact to a ducking Erin tenths of a second after he released it.

You’re not able to process properly what happened.

Hd is your friend and worth it.
,

Erin, that's cute, bet you say that again in homeroom in the morning.

Mayowa or how ever u spell #93 name was dumb on that play. Stupid to try and tackle Aaron rodgers like that when lawrence had him wrapped up by the ankle. I wish Lawrence would of rolled and just took Aaron Rodgers down before 93 got to show his stupidity.

Erin is the sideline reporter.

Aaron is the GB QB.

if you're stupid enough to launch yourself crown of the helmet first at a QB with the rules the way they are your ******* deserves a penalty
He didn't spear Rodgers but having his head down made it look like he intended to do it.

His head did graze Rodgers but didn't touch Rodger's helmet.

It's was a borderline play. Borderline plays should error on the side of not being called.

The big issue is that the refs like to make these calls at the most critical times in games and I'm not referring specifically to Cowboys games.

At those super critical times is when the refs should try to avoid calling penalties like that unless they're blatant.

I think the refs enjoy making themselves part of the game.
