good to hear

the one injury i'm watching closely is for the opposing team, Lacy. If he doesn't practice tomorrow, he could likely be out Sunday

great news, Green gives us some quality depth outside and I think sooner or later will challenge for RT spot. Irving gives us needed depth within the rotation, still waiting on Irving to take that next step as a player.

Irving doesn't matter. Our coaches don't have a clue that he is one of our most productive lineman and will just have him on the sideline anyways.

Irving is part of the rotation and if he wants more playing time he needs to produce. He is one of the most productive? based on what? .The half sack he had last season? I like him and I think he has some promise and is still only 23 years old and I have no doubt Marinelli will play him more once he shows more.

I believe he had 8 pressures in his limited playing time, more than any of our DL

Marinelli is not an idiot, he will play guys who are showing him something. Fans have opinion that is fine but I think Rod after all these years coaching some very good defense also know what the hell is going on. He sees these guys day in and day out and when players show something they will play. Sorry I trust his views over any one on this board. He has a track record and respect my others around the NFL

I don't want to get down on Irving I think the kid has a lot of promise, he is young and still developing into a player. I just happen to think Marinelli sees a lot more from these players and will play the guys who are producing. Irving is going to see action no doubt about it and the more he does the more he will play which is how it should be.

Based on the few times he has been in the game he has pressured QBs and gotten in the back field on running plays and has that height that is so hard to throw over the top of. Are you a cowboys fan? Watch any of the games?

Why do you say that? I trust Marinelli will use him accordingly. Last years coaching didn't have a clue. But this year I think they know exactly what their doing.

Makes sense. Listen, I know people only remember that last thing they saw or the fact that we are winning but this defensive line is still atrocious. We need to get our best guys out there and Irving is one of them. He needs to get in 20-30 snaps a game as opposed to 5.

My gosh....I knew about Irving but completely missed Green's injury. He was playing decent too. Sprained foot?

No he hasn't. He got 1 sack against a guy that gave up 3.
I meant in the grand scheme of things. He played like 8 snaps in his first game and had more QB pressures than Crawford had all season at DT. Hes just a good player.
