Serious?

Pretty sure his second chance is getting paid half a million each week and the looming massive contract he'll sign after this season.

The whole them vs. Dallas mentality regarding Hardy is a complete joke. Don't want media scrutiny for players with pending legal cases? Simple fix is to not sign them.

Or don't be Dallas. The Ray Mcdonald signing barely registered and he had a running list of incidents.

One of two reasons explain why the case went away: the woman was frightening for her life...and dropped the charges...or there was a boat load of money brought in to pay her off.

He was found GUILTY in court of law. There was substantial physical evidence of abuse and there was at least one witness who heard it happen.

Those ear witnesses get you every time.

You are abandoning all logic! Sprinting away from it! You think the woman made up all the bruises and abrasions all over her body and piped sound that convinced neighbors of an assault?

Again, further proof that some of you fans go to any imaginable gymnastics to defend a guy--if he can help win a football game. Sad commentary.

Actually I was just making a joke.

the thing is he has paid all the dues for what he did he missed all last year and they said 10 games this year then it was reduced to four he now has no criminal record so he has paid what it was determined for him this had to do with the fact its a story and its the dallas cowboys and they fear there is still a chance for them to turn things around and go to the playoffs if they can put pressure on boys to suspend him just takes away another chance for them to win he has paid his due I believe whether I agree or not

If Hardy couldn't sack a QB, he wouldn't be either.

I don't see the point of the argument. To me this is a judiciary issue. If someone commits a crime and there's proof of his guilt, he should be prosecuted for it and thus ineligible to play in the league while in that system. But if a player is not convicted of a crime, he should be free to play in the league regardless of public opinion. The league shouldn't investigate anything. Let the courts handle that,.

This wussification of sports is sickening to me.

He's currently not on a team.

But he was. He was signed after multiple incidents in the past year, including a rape allegation, wasn't suspended and was only released after an additional arrest. None of his incidents or signing received attention comparable to Hardy. Not even in the ballpark.

So what you're saying is high profile players draw more attention when they screw up?

That's deep.

I said it before and ill say it again. I would give Hardy 35 million guaranteed and not look back. If winning a Super Bowl means we have to sign talented pieces of **** like Hardy to long term deals.. then so be it. I don't watch football to judge anyone.

I've tried to bite my tongue on this one but after reading some of these comments I can no longer stay quiet. You people who are comdeming Hardy are right to do so but condeming the people who are not willing to send him to the electric chair is flat out ridiculous. Everyone wants to wear their finest moral hat when taking their shots at Hardy. Who are you fooling? Are you perfect? Let me save you the time. No. You're not. The only difference between your skeltons and Hardy's is that you don't have millions of people rifling through your pile 24/7

Personally I think Hardy is kind of a jerk but hey, guess what. He makes our team better. "Oh no! But he's a bad man" if you want to trick yourself into believing that the NFL is filled with stand up guys who do no wrong then I have some bad news for you. Maybe you should try out Sesame Street and re- runs of Blues Clues where that kind of thinking might actually hold some ground. The NFL is filled with gang bangers, thugs, addicts and just some downright horrible individuals. And they are all here for our entertainment and nothing else.

Talk to me about what he does on the field because that is simply all I (as a fan of this franchise) care about. If I had to try and pretend I know the man without the cowboys helmet on then I would say that Hardy is a jerk who probably got away with going upside that women's head and body.

But my job as a fan is not to expect law abiding citizens who take part in prayers and charity events like I live in some freaking cartoon. But to expect wins and maybe even a championship. That's it. Everyone who is pretending to be ashamed of Hardy need to take a long hard look in that Cowboys ring of honor and ask themselves why they haven't been ashamed before. Hardy is just another contributor on the team I just so happen to root for. The nfl is a revolving door.

Players will come and go but the organization will remain. I in no way, shape or form condone abuse on women but I also don't pretend to know who these players are off the field. I mean Payton Manning and Tom Brady could be having off season cocain binges for all I care. But you better believe when they step on the field I'm going to admire their performance. If you believe that these guys are top notch individuals then You're living in a fantasy world and you need to wake up. I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of hate from people who are going to pretend to know me (who would've thought, right?) But I'm a Cowboys fan before I am Romo fan, Witten fan or Bryant fan. I WILL be a fan after them just like I was for several years before them.
