This thread is a serious embarrassment. It just shows how a/immoral people are when it comes down to getting what they want. I'd like to think Cowboy fans are better than Eagle fans (who cheer injuries) or Patriot fans (who defend cheating)...but we are just as bad.

For some people a win on Sunday is everything.

The Dallas Cowboys are a professional football franchise that's players are paid to play football at a high level not be angels off the field.

Makes you wonder if Aaron Hernandez was on our team, what the response would be?

On a side note .. not that the topic is not serious and interesting .. but it just occurred to me to ask...

The timing of revealing the photos is suspicious ...******** people need to be questioned when they got the photos and why hold them all this time .. i mean just before a critical divisional game on a Friday after practice ..

Again.. not that I think the issue is not that important.. I just felt the timing of this is fishy .. The WHOLE world know what he did for over a year .. why put the photos out now?????

As a last note .. I believe a "man" should never lay his hand on a woman, a kid, an elder person no matter what .. don't reply to me giving me scenarios .. It is an absolute opinion .. that's part of being a "Man"

He wasn't a Cowboy when the incident occured.

His case was dismissed. He served his NFL suspension.

The ONLY reason this continues to be a huge story is because he's a Dallas Cowboy. SportsCenter spent 15 straight minutes on the story, complete with the expert opinions of 2 women who say the Cowboys should cut him (LOL).

Junior Galette received a 2nd chance with the Commanders. Ray McDonald received a 2nd chance with the Bears.

Did you hear anybody rip on THOSE teams for enabling a woman-beater? Of course not.

We aren't talking about being an angel. We are talking about a guy who beats up his women. That's not acceptable, period. I don't want that guy around no matter what.

One of two reasons explain why the case went away: the woman was frightening for her life...and dropped the charges...or there was a boat load of money brought in to pay her off.

He was found GUILTY in court of law. There was substantial physical evidence of abuse and there was at least one witness who heard it happen.

It is going to be an ugly distracting grotesque circus.

The Sunday pre-games will be filled with it. Then wait for Costas.

Yea that's what I'm waiting for. Used to be a fan way back in the day. Not anymore though.

Bull. The media loves video but, absent that, they'll settle for pictures. Given the attention focused on this issue over the past 15 months, the release of the pictures would be making news no matter whom he played for.

What's it going to be then, eh?

This is huge because it involves the Cowboys.

No matter where you stand on the issue, that is pretty clear.

If Hardy were playing in Jacksonville, you would see a blurb on PFT and probably shrug your shoulders.

That's irrelevant.

He's a free man, per our justice system. He was suspended by the NFL and served his suspension.

What more do people want from him? A phony PR apology that won't change anyone's mind about him anyways?

The media is doing their best to bully the Cowboys into releasing him, and it's only because he's a Cowboy.

Again, Junior Galette and Ray McDonald were given 2nd chances. Michael Vick was signed by Philly after serving time. Ben Roethlisberger was welcomed back with the Steelers after his suspension for allegedly raping women.

So ask yourself: why weren't THOSE teams crushed by the media the way the Cowboys have consistently been getting crushed since signing Hardy?

It's the hatred of America's Team. Embrace it and rub our 5 rings in the faces of all the haters like I'm doing.

Can't believe this thread exists.
It exist because its polarizing and people like you post in them even though you don't agree/like the player. That's how it always works folks play on the emotions of people and this is just another case of it. So believe it and next you could try to stay out of threads like this you can't believe were made but you won't. That's why these threads are so popular we know what sells lol

And how about the dozen other non-stories the media's created just to keep Hardy in the news?

His usage of the expression "guns blazing" became a story!

Only the Cowboys.

It was only polarizing today. That's the funny part of this.

Nobody was decrying domestic violence yesterday.

Yet now, they are.

That is the completely awesome part about all of this.

It is so intriguing to watch unfold

Aww darn. Hoodwinked by the media again.
