Greg Hardy Appreciation Thread

Hardy is a good team mate and a great player. Sign him long term and don't hesitate to do so.

Even had he been prosecuted, it was just a misdemeanor. You don't take away someone's career because he was guilty of a misdemeanor. You certainly don't do it if he isn't even found guilty.

The guy is a fantastic player and the team loves him. He will retire a Cowboy.

I'm debating whether I should buy a Greg Hardy jersey. If he doesn't sign an extension here, I'll feel like an idiot for blowing $100 on it. But I'm going on vacation in California in about a month and I wanna rep my Boys in Cali. And specifically Hardy because I think I'd get some funny comments thrown at me like "You know Greg Hardy is a criminal, right?"... or " How could you cheer for that guy?"... It'll be great.

He warrants a second chance even if he is guilty. I have forgiven friends and family for doing a lot of stupid things in my life and they have done the same for me. I hope he stays a Cowboy and keeps assaulting QBs for years to come. I'm sure Brady knows who he is and is thankful he didn't break his clavicle when Hardy sacked him.

Right. He was facing a 60-day suspended sentence and 18 months probation. Some people act like he was going to prison!

Listen here, I always try to tell people......the kraken is coming for you QBs!

Oh boy, I could see it now. Woman beating, assault rifle wielding, womanizer, intentionally drives the small man into the turf at the perfect angle he knew would break Brady's clavicle and potentially end his career, if not his life.

I'd sign him next week if he was willing.

Yea I remember Ravens fans showing up with Ray Rice jerseys on that primetime game after that news broke. Go at it. I'm sure we'll see a lot of Hardy Jerseys at the game. More for the media to talk about.

I'm sure no Cowboys fan condones domestic abuse and I'm no exception. As far as being a devoted football player goes, Hardy is proving himself richly deserving of any and all of the accolades that he receives in that area.

As long as he keeps his nose clean and avoids repeat offenses, it's likely he'll have a long and successful career with the Cowboys. Let's just hope he continues playing and sacking QBs for us for years to come.

I think you're safe to purchase that jersey. He will resign with us thanks mostly to the media. While they have tried to destroy him, all they have really done is improved our chances of getting him extended at a really friendly rate. They've made him unattractive on the open market which plays perfectly into our hands. Thanks mediots.

With all of the pics out we should be able to get a discount by staying by his side at this time.

This is what I love about the guy. When he steps on that field he wants to rip your head off. He becomes the Kraken the moment kickoff ensues and there's no stopping him. He's relentless, never gives up on plays, plays with great energy and enthusiasm and that is contagious. From that stand point he is a leader. Without question. He's a great football player. He's still gonna continue to improve which is scary. I've always been a believer in second chances and even though I maintain I believe Hardy is innocent we've seen a guy like Josh Brent get a second chance. The Cowboys didn't give up on him why would they do the same for Hardy?

Give this man credit. Despite everything that has transpired over the last year. People saying he's a scumbag, a woman beater, that he should be in prison, etc. he's still maintained his innocence obviously and he never has broken. That's takes an incredible amount of fortitude. He hasn't let what people said get to him. He just goes out and plays the game at an incredibly high level and his personality hasn't changed either. He doesn't care what people think and how they view him. Hardy is gonna be Hardy. He clearly loves being a Cowboy. They've supported him from day one and will continue to do so. He's one of the best players in the league right now. Whatever happens with this season this is a guy you have to bring back.

Yeah, nothing says "good teammate" like assaulting the special teams coach in the middle of a game when the guy is trying to coach up his unit for the next play.

Newsflash:

Romo is a good teammate.
Witten is a good teammate.
Hardy is a selfish, degenerate sleazebag.

He wants to be a Cowboy because nobody else will have him. lol I hope the Cowboys at least protect themselves in the next contract from this fool.

Do you need a tissue?

There's a number of guys I'm taking into a fox hole with me on this team. Romo, Dez, Witten, and Kraken.

I think you should use them yourself..... you got something dripping off your chin there....

Nah I left my sensitivity at the door. I don't expect all our players to be angels and choir boys.

What are we apprecaiting? His ability to injure QBs or his ability to injure women? :muttley:
