If Matt Cassel went 11-5 with the Pats…..Brandon Weeden a former 1st round pick…..failed with this group…then how on earth were they this good? A lowly 4th round rookie out performed them which is a credit to him?

And you want to credit Zeke….McFadden was back up to start the season behind Joseph Randle…he had over 1k rushing yards. The run game was productive and still 4 wins.

The media and some fans tend to overrate Cowboys players. Have you noticed what has happened to these guys once they leave here? Dez? Retired. Witten? Retired. Terrance Williams? Arena Football League. Lance Dunbar? XFL. Brice Butler? But this team was so stacked they were litter out of the league a year or so later.

I’m not even sure why this is going back and forth. Dak got put in an incredible situation. The 4 wins the year before has nothing to do with this. It’s the product of a bad backup QB and Dez also being hurt. It’s not hard. You have a young top back, a top line, 3 tough WRs and everyone has a healthy year. It was optimal for a rookie. It’s not a slight on him but last year was probably the worst roster. He’s had plenty of talent so far.

The point you guys are missing is supporting cast means nothing if you suck. That’s the point. Anyone can’t just line up at quarterback and play. People do this with Jalen Hurts too. Why should a guy get discredited because his team was good? There are guys who suck with good teams every year.

The debate is not about top 10, once you get past, Rodgers, Mahomes, there is the Allen, Burrow, Wilson level, and really there is a jumble for 6-16, and then another jumble at 17 and beyond. Being in the 6-16 range of QBs is nothing to brag about unless you happen to be #16 and you are talking to a QB in 17-64 range.

Even after he leaves dallas for three years after, there will still be dak threads. if you talk about the kicker, its actually about Dak, because we couldn't score a TD and had to kick it, if you say jerry jones, then its about Dak and jerry giving him 40M, if we talk about parsons, then it turns into dak, because parsons got worn out, because offense couldn't hold the ball enough to rest the defense and its Dak's fault.
