Playaction doesn't work at all for us this year.
Nobody's scared of our run game.
Look at McCarthy's last two years in Green Bay. Same deal.
Guy is a fraud.

CARRY DAK..........LOL
He got tired of getting banned from Twitter for inappropriate posts.Oh you’re back….yay
My thing is the scheme didn't really change from last year. This is McCarthy's scheme that we put in and were effective with, because we a) had better skill players (Cooks is fading as he aged, but is easily better than the backups we're playing in his absence), b) had at least a slightly better offensive line, particularly the tackles, although Steele was struggling then, and c) had a running threat.Uh oh. Another ex NFL player telling you scheme is a issue but the resident gurus who don’t even play high school ball gonna tell him he’s wrong and doesn’t know what he’s talking about lol.
From what I saw it was an issue last year. Apparently they changed something up last year around week 6 or 7…..to me the difference is pass protection is worse and the run game is worse. Dak and Lamb masked how bad it was last year. Their big plays came from Dak on the run which is non existent this year.My thing is the scheme didn't really change from last year. Tell me why the scheme wasn't an issue last year?
It started off being an issue because Dak was being coached to get the ball out quickly. That meant a lot of throws to check-down or underneath receivers instead of getting the ball downfield to Lamb. After Lamb approached the coaches, they tweaked the scheme, essentially making him the first look for Dak on almost all pass plays. This year with Cooks out, teams are focusing on limiting Lamb, which means Dak has to look elsewhere for receivers who are not winning one-on-ones before the protection breaks down. From what I saw it was an issue last year. I thought the same thing then I looked up and Dallas is 5th in pass blockingFrom what I saw it was an issue last year. Oh myHere for the Dak/Jerry Laughs...............and you're just a bonus laugh.
The defense isn't built to play with a tie score either.Great analysis and perspective from Olsen.
My takeaways:
1) Greg compared the offense to a high school offense, many agree with that.
2) Greg mentioned it's hard to function during the week in Dallas, hmmm.
3) The defense isn't built to play without a lead. It certainly shows every game.
Thanks @BigCowboysHomer
I’m pretty sure they can’t fix the issue this year which sucks. It started off being an issue because Dak was being coached to get the ball out quickly. If the pass protection held up better or the run game was a threat, it's possible we could overcome the extra focus on Lamb, but we can't without those things. The scheme is failing for multiple reasons, and the only way to change that is to fix the broken things (i.e., add players) or change the scheme.
I’m not interested in your IG of jokes about suicide…..LOL......I know you missed your Daddy PAPPY now you get double the fun X and the CZ.........
Always wondered how the mind of a stalker works???
P.S. Did you find me on Instagram yet stalker man?
I mean you can’t deny the impact of Cooks especially in the red zone. I told people all year feel how you want about him but he has more touchdowns than anyone in the league last year. It’s clearly missed.I thought the same thing then I looked up and Dallas is 5th in pass blocking
Maybe I didn’t look up right thing because Steele gets abuse regularly and guyton still is learning
Maybe because they can’t run it’s just 3rd and long they struggle with not sure
The scheme is the same as last year but feel like cooks is better than the other scrubs and he’s cooked. CeeDee is literally the only one getting separation and Dak is forcing it
5th best which shocked me. I just don’t see itI mean you can’t deny the impact of Cooks especially in the red zone. I told people all year feel how you want about him but he has more touchdowns than anyone in the league last year. It’s clearly missed.
5th best in pass protection or 5th worst lol?
Funny. Because he’s actually one of the best. And EVERYONE says so.Another Todd France employee one of many as when it comes to PR Todd is KING baby!!!
P.S. Plus the tone of his voice makes your brain feel like it will explode............lousy announcer!!!
In your zeal to defend your hero, you missed that I didn't even disagree with him. I just stated my opinion on *why* we weren't running the under center offense. That's what Greg Olsen laid out for you as well.
But you go ahead and "die on the hill" of ignorance and thinking you know this sport better than an NFL analyst and former All-Pro TE.
"WAAAAH if Dak re-signs with the Cowboys, I quit as a Cowboys fan, you guysssssss!!!!"Nav22 is correct.............all together now with a shout.............

I expect it to get a little better when Cooks, Parsons and Lawrence return, if we don't suffer any other injury setbacks. Still I don't think we can overcome the protection issues and lack of a running game or our DT issues without making moves, and we know the Joneses aren't going to make any difference-making movesI’m pretty sure they can’t fix the issue this year which sucks.

If you really think Dak wants a totally different play structure but McCarthy is forcing him to run the same tired stuff Garrett and Kellen did, well... We knew you weren't reasonable anyway.
At least you'll always have that runner-up MVP trophy to caress.
