But how is it we saw literally nothing during games last year? Even when he was in for mop up duty he didn't blow anyone away. We have the same depth as last year at wr, with maybe a bit more commitment to Beasley due to his new contract

He looked fine in the 3 snaps he got last year. He knew where to be and blocked well. Quickness and strength will make him a better blocker and allow him to capitalize on the solid positioning he has. Having the playbook for an extra year will tighten things up even more.

Really curious to see what Street can do this season.

Regarding Gregory, I'm just sitting back with big ole ****-eatin grin on my face.

I'm happy as well but let's see if this translates in pads.

Receivers and quick fast guys should excell in the type of environment they are currently in.

I understand that, and obviously there's something to him for the coaches to have so much hope in him. It's just that over the years there's been guys who have done decent in first couple years before becoming solid contributers (Austin, Hurd, Crayton, etc), all showed flashes of something. Street was very quiet

Last year as the 5th receiver very quiet. Sure Romo wasn't exactly looking his way when he was in.

Speaking of ****eatin that's probably why yesterday's OTA report on Gregory focused on him losing his lunch. It's not wise hitting the practice field especially on a hot day after just consuming a burger, cheese fries and a chocolate shake with whipped cream.

If Gregory develops into a good player it could open up endorsement opportunities from in n out and Pepcid AC.

Not worried about that guy's talent (top 5) and how he will transition to pads.

Games are not won and lost on Sundays. They're won in preparation and practice.

I like him but 240 is 240..

That's a warmup set on bench press for an NFL Olinemen.

James Harrison is an Oompa Loompa that couldn't hold Gregory's jock strap when he came outta college. Dude fared pretty well I'd say. Again, not worried.

If Street can be more productive than Williams has been, why would I care? I'm not a Terrance Williams fan, I'm a Cowboys fan. What individual players do doesn't matter to me at all, as long as the team wins.

Good, something we can agree on.

So watching the team don't root for the players who play. Just the logo on the helmet. Bizarre.

Of course I want every player on the Cowboys to do as well as possible, because that helps the team. But I certainly don't root for one player on the team over another player on the team.

Agree Adam - I am not married to any of these Cowboys. The best players play.
If Free and Leary keep Collins and Green on the bench, then so be it.
If Wilcox keeps his starting position over Byron Jones, so be it.
If Collins puts Zach Martin on the bench, so be it (I am not holding my breath on this).

There is no couple years, he is way down the depth chart. Some take 3 years to develop some develop the first year. Coaches see things we can't do just chill and see how he does.

I tend to. But then I still want the guy I"m rooting for benched if he can't earn the reps. Obviously, any argument about who to start, or any criticism of a starter's play is based on production. But it's more fun to watch a team like the one we've got right now, where I like almost all of the current players for the most part than it is to watch a team with Terrell Owens or Pacman Jones or Deion Sanders in the lineup. That's one of the bigger reasons I'm actually bummed about Murray leaving and getting possibly replaced by Randle. Murray's an easy guy to root for. Randle, not so much.
