Gregory can apply reinstatement Nov 6

Good luck with your boy, he's lucky to have you.
Thanks.

It has been hell for everyone, especially his Mom, but also me, his Dad, Sisters, etc.. He is in Montana and we are all in Texas. He going to be there until May when he finishes High School.

About 12 cops showed up at my house back in May and he tried hiding in the attic.

I really think it all started because he wanted to be popular. He was never good at sports and those types of things so he decided to be the best druggie and he became very popular based on looking at his phone.

It was a risk that failed. The Jaylon Smith risk makes up for it (I know it is early but he is looking good and isn't 100% yet)

Man, sorry to hear that. Kids can be a challenge (have 5 myself and my boy has also put us thru some trials), but I'm hoping this experience can be the catalyst for change. I've only known you thru CZ but your insight and intelligence are obvious.

My best to you and your family X.

Thanks my friend.

I enjoy your insights here also. Your posts tend to have unique perspective.

Just because it has an action on a receptor doesn’t mean it’s the standard of treatment for a disorder. One could prescribe a medication because of an added benefit it possesses outside of primary effect but most of what you’re trying to change should be tied to primary action. A zpak has a nice anti-inflammatory action but if it doesn’t work against a bug it’s mostly placebo.
Obviously not. It would be off label for that which most Doctor's would not do.

There's really not that many people I'd cut to make room for Gregory. I mean there's obviously Kellen Moore, but I *hope* he gets cut when we're ready to bring up Rico Gathers. I guess at that point we wouldn't need all 4 RBs...the Elliott suspension drama should be concluded by then, but I wouldn't cut Noah Brown, Jonathan Cooper, any of the DEs, Brian Price (just because he's a DT to be honest), any of the LBs and likely only Bene in the secondary, but I think he goes to make room for Irving.

Since we're on the subject, what are the odds that the Jets claim Bene Benwikere if we release him?
dear Man with plan--- you know i hear ya...one can only take so much disappointment...but for me for some reason i got soft spot for Randy...he tokes some weed cause he gets nervous....i use to too..here in Cali weed is legal.....i know its big NO No in NFL...but i am hoping Randy finds his way back to play for cowboys

It solved my restless legs syndrome and I discovered it by accident after a Dentist gave it to me.

It's interesting how the effects of meds vary so widely from person to person.

Things like hydrocodone have near zero effect on me. I have no idea how people get a buzz from it.
Man, X, I was taking a medication (anti-depressant) and I had to stop taking it because of RLS. People that haven't had it can't imagine how horrible it is. Gah! Horrible memories. Thankfully my doc and I identified it to the new medicine and we went a different route and it went away. I only get it now on extremely rare occasions.

Yes, my stepson was in and out of rehab the past year and half and they really don't do much other than make certain they can't get drugs there. They push them to talk but it's not really intense counseling by professionals like I expected.

He finally went to something similar to a boys tanch and they really seem to be getting through to him by focusing on big picture life skills instead of just talking about drugs.
Good stuff, X. Good luck to you and your family, brother.

That's good that you found the cause. A lot medication is trial and error; although, they've started doing genetic testing that helps match meds with people.

My RLS was not only a problem when sleeping but then my legs would be fatigued the next day from it.

A good Doctor is invaluable. The good ones are few and far between in my experience.

Yep. Through just taking stuff I've found out I don't do well with the aforementioned tramadol, I am flat allergic to morphine, vicodin is somewhat pleasant, flexeril puts me to sleep without really relaxing my muscles, soma makes me feel happy and relaxes my muscles, and trenbolone turns me into an insanely strong, irritable man who has a great body but can't sleep at night. :)

Like every other occupation on the face of the earth.

It's a risk that hasn't finished yet. He is still on the team and under contract. Maybe to this point it's been a failure but the kid can play. This deal can still work out and until he is no longer on the team i will continue to support the young man.

Even if it never works out getting a top 5 player at 60 was still great value. I agree with Jaylon and think he will give us all-pro years. People are down on him and i don't see it. I think he has been fantastic and is keeping up with Lee being pretty much a rookie and not 100 percent

Woot woot woot

If we get this guy back, by the mid-late end of next season, we will have two potential pro-bowlers at the ends.

Gregory is fire. Gregory is a potential elite, All-Pro right end
This is sarcasm, right? 1 sack and 15 solo tackles in two years.

He should be cut and time to move on, Gregory was a wasted pick...
