Getting a tattoo of a team makes more sense if you are a fan. That's your team and that will never change. If you're a player, you could switch teams multiple times and be stuck with the old tat. I don't like tattoos in general, it's permanent. Cowboys logo is just a star tho, so i guess he can get away with it.

A) Tattoos aren't permanent.

B) While it's unlikely he'll only ever be a Cowboy... there is something to always having a special place in your heart for an organization that took a risk on you and gave you your first chance.

I still get those deep breaths when I see Michael Irvin when he wore that Star.
Those deep emotional breaths where your woman is walking by and asks- are you OK? And you want to blow it off and go- oh yeah, but the deep breaths make you choke when you try to answer.

That still happens and once again our team is getting those emotionally invested players every team needs.
I hope this generation of Cowboys gives me those feelings 10, 15, 20 years from now also.

We need some new highlights, I think of the Super Bowl wins of the 70's and 90's and they were great, but I need new Super Bowl highlights to think of and brag about.

Half not he learned from the thousands and hundreds of fellows who half tattooed they arms with "Doris Forevor" and "Taneka Mein Love" only to half a breakup? One day he is a Cowboy, the next a player for the Calgary Stampeders. I say do them tattoos in regular ink and if the love affair/job lasts then all he half to do is keep refreshing the ballpoint pen ink. that is mein solution.

but Gregory inject some enthusiams and it is all good.

Yeah, this guy is not all there mentally.

There or not, I'm glad he's ours, warts and all. It's early, but I'm in this kid's corner. And if all goes as planned, the Cowboys will have one helluva player. Haley comes to mind. If he's anything like Chuck, look out NFL!

In Darren Woodson I trust. ;)

Well, I apologize to anybody here who has a Cowboys tattoo. It's great that people love their teams. For me, I think it's like tattooing your name on your body someplace, but I know there are a lot of people who love their teams and love their tats.

I'm not really a tat guy, but when I got my first one, it was pretty obvious what I was doing. I am a fan for life, so why not put something there. Now that tat of my ex, well that's a different story LOL

Pretty easy to change a tattoo to something different. And I don't care if he is as crazy as a stomped ant, as long as he brings it on game day.

A star is a star people.. people get stars left and right, he can add other things to it and it'll be a nice tattoo either way. If he put Dallas Cowboys then that would suck.

Him and Dez are going to get a long.. love the passion.

I love this guy already!

As do I. Only time will tell if he is the player we all want/hope him to be, but my initial impression is a positive one. He seems to be brash and confident, not a "sit meekly in the corner" kind of guy. Those types (brash and confident), IMO, are more likely to be great. They wear their heart on their sleeve and put everything out there for the world to see. Failure is not an option for those types. I think he's one of them.
