Could it? I hope you are right, but I've never been as sold on Gregory as some are. I tend to think of him as more of a role player - a pass rush specialist rather than an every down player, and one that still hasn't made much of a mark in that role despite being drafted 5 years ago.
At this point he will soon be 28 years old, has only played in 28 games out of a possible 80 (not including playoffs) and with him missing all of 2019, and with Griffen and Lawrence both being solid as the starters at DE in 2020, I'm not convinced Gregory will contribute enough in 2020 to make his value go up much.
I hope after the season you are telling me how wrong I was though.
Griffin and Lawrence are traditional 4-3 DEs but Smith and Gregory are good fits as 3-4 OLBs. I could see sets using a 5 man rush with Hill or Crawford in the middle. That could be pretty brutal on an opposing OL.
