News: Gregory Suspended for a year

I am guessing the NFL allowed him to play two games simply so he earned some money this year. How much signing bonus money did he get ? I am sure its all gone, so at least he got two game checks to live on for a little while. I would bet he never wears the Cowboys uniform again. Maybe he should head to Canada to play next year.
 
Gregory should take it to court like Brady did. It may be his only shot playing in the Playoffs and possibly the Super Bowl.

You need to get a better understanding of the Constitution. The government isn't doing anything to Gregory. His employer is. They have rules, many of which are collectively bargained. They also tell the players what to wear during games, what they can't wear, and how to wear it. I guess you also think that's unconstitutional. No one is telling Gregory he can't smoke pot. He just can't do it and play in the NFL. The Constitution doesn't guarantee him the right to play football for millions of dollars.

He would have to find some serious flaw with the procedure or precedent and get a judge to issue a TRO to allow him to play in the playoffs....real longshot

Wow! And all my life I thought the Cowboys were part of the NFL. Professional sports is a different type of business. The teams share revenue because they're part of the league. Otherwise teams like Jacksonville and a few others couldn't exist. The Cowboys could not exist without the NFL.

Reading comprehension is your friend. I said it's not hard to not do drugs, meaning just don't start to begin with. If you don't start, you don't get addicted.

Being a drug addict isn't a weakness to me. It's all about making piss poor decisions and throwing your life away. I can sympathize with a person in that situation, but that doesn't mean they don't have to pay for their decisions. I've always said, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I didn't, I want to see the players that earned the right to play in the playoffs, not some jackass dopehead that would rather smoke pot.
