sounds like some weed from the coastWhat ever happened to probable cause and habeas corpus...never mind logic and common decency.
okay, you won thereI didn't, I want to see the players that earned the right to play in the playoffs, not some jackass dopehead that would rather smoke pot.
People sometimes make bad decisions, it's part of life.
He'll bounce back stronger than ever and help lead the Cowboys to many many many playoffs. Go Cowboys!
From what I have cobbled together
RGregory failed a test this summer, his 5th failure because it resulted in a 4 game suspension
He then entered rehab instead of staying at Training Camp
At some point he failed another test before October resulting in a 10 game suspension
He re-joined the team around the same time and started working out
He then dropped the appeal of his 10 game suspension
In November word leaked his missed another test
He quietly appealed the latest missed test and finished his 14 games off
He was not allowed to return 2 weeks early to begin practicing because NFL said he was "not in compliance"
He returned for Games 15 and 16 while still appealing his newest failure
His appeal was heard yesterday and he lost
He is now suspended indefinitely and can first apply for reinstatement in a year
DAL still has his rights for 3 seasons(this year didn't count) and he won't count against the roster next year while suspended
Let's just say you may feel differently if you have ever known a true addict...the addiction can move from drugs to food to sex...it's not about just making poor decisions. It's about treating a void that is much deeper than just poor decision. The person who became hooked on opiates after having his wisdom teeth pulled didn't make a poor decision. They made the same decisions most of us have made...we were just lucky that we weren't born with the same issues as they were.Being a drug addict isn't a weakness to me. It's all about making piss poor decisions and throwing your life away. I can sympathize with a person in that situation, but that doesn't mean they don't have to pay for their decisions. I've always said, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Part of me agrees with you, however, the other part of me believes if I was investing millions of dollars in some one, I might want them to stay free of drugs. The are paying these guys to be in top physical and mental shape, not sure weed is real conducive to that.

Wow! And all my life I thought the Cowboys were part of the NFL. Professional sports is a different type of business. The teams share revenue because they're part of the league. Otherwise teams like Jacksonville and a few others couldn't exist. The Cowboys could not exist without the NFL.
Have you never had a drink of alcohol in your life?Reading comprehension is your friend. I said it's not hard to not do drugs, meaning just don't start to begin with. If you don't start, you don't get addicted.
A real downer in a week that, to this point was full of good news...
So many of us called this crap when we drafted him, and he's done nothing but disappoint.
Ah no, those are banned as well.Free of drugs?? But it's ok to pump HGH and Testosterone, and pain killers in these million dollar bodies??
Ah no, those are banned as well.
Well, the steroids are anyway. "Prescribed" pain killers are not.Ah no, those are banned as well.
