I'm surprised it was this quick. I thought it would be five minutes after we declared our inactives next Sunday.

But I think its BS how the NFL timed all of this and how fast they brought all this down.

Brady can cheat and delay his suspension for a year. Multiple other players have done what Gregory did multiple times and the process can take forever.

Really seems like they messed us over on this one.

They don't have to pay him so why bother releasing him?

Either he's going to get it through his head or the Cowboys will retain his rights and never have to pay him.

There's no downside in retaining his rights.

Jerry likes the kid. He won't be released.

But come draft time, the team needs to draft as if he is never coming back. DE will be a big need in the draft.

I don't get into conspiracies usually, but I can't remember the last time the NFL heard an appeal, let alone issues a verdict this quickly. This smacks of Goodell and Mara teaming up.
