I am not giving up but he looks like he shouldn't be a down linemen to me, his build reminds me more of a corner than a DE. Even when I watch him, it seems like he is trying to out juke an OL, once you get your hands on him...he's done.

I remember Broaddus was puzzled when we picked him because he graded him as a 3-4 OLB. I can't say I disagree after this season.

I also hated his tweet after the Bills loss.

Terrible rookie season. Looking like a bust, but injuries did slow him down.

This is a product of the media making someone a god before they even take a snap. You'll fall right into the trap every time. He was hailed as the next Ware. This will back fire on front office, this guy along with Jones are busts.

Gregory was a second round pick why would there be any back firing ?
weird

What are we to make of Gregory's 2015 performance?

He ended the year with 0 sacks in 12 games.

He he been able to gain any weight since his time at Nebraska?

Does he have the potential to be something more than a pass-rushing specialist?

Do this. Look at the greatest DE's in NFL history. Tell me what there stays were for years 1 and 2. Don't be typical. There are too many not those type already.

I expect him to benefit greatly from an NFL offseason strength program.

He has raw talent as far as getting to the QB.

Please don't waste time trashing this guy. We have so many much larger issues.

94 and 90 will be a nice tandem in '16

....good point. Jones seemed to fade and separate himself from the hype bestowed on him.

....as for Gregory.....him having a great off-season workout and be far away from the League Drug policy will determine his worth.

Didn't you see it? 1st pick....lots of playing time, but nothing to marvel at. Nothing but hope and promise.

Uhh, you do understand that most rookies take time to transition to the NFL, right?

You do understand that DB is the hardest position to transition from college to the NFL besides QB, right?

Do you know that actually, Jones had a pretty good season considering he's a rookie and was being flip flopped around the secondary all season long?

I think our expectations were way too high. He did get pressures when healthy, but as others have stated he needs to gain a lot of weight in the offseason. Regardless Gregory being on the team shouldnt influence anything dallas does in the offseason.

Hes too thin. Needs two years to bulk up the right way and keep his speed and explosiveness. Even then he might not be an everydown DE. Lets just hope everything works out for him.

Big jump from college to NFL.

I do....perhaps scheme (not surprising) rendered him without playmaking results.....I saw lots of tackles AFTER catch, and later on, lots of chasing with huge distance in between.

But deservingly, he is young and it is no time to give up on him. Next year, I expect elevation in plays/playmaking.....but if we go with standard operating procedures....he'll be ok....Mo and Carr have been granted lengthy times to play in declined/ineffective mode.

We have too many people giving horrible play and results an excuse. Hes light, hes a rookie, hes come off an injury... He stunk. I guess only rookies on the Dallas Cowboys are not expected to make any impact, around the league, a different story
