There are $240 million reasons why Jerry Jones will be doing everything his unqualified football brain can think of to help Dak Prescott for the foreseeable future. Nothing wrong with an opinion but serious opinions should include some degree of realism in order to be considered reasonably.
Exactly........it's called return on investment. Jerry will have one major priority going forward.........putting Dak in the best position ( via players and coaches ) for his money's worth.

Wow, people really dislike Jerry. Why do you even stay cowboy fans fathoms me. Ask yourself why am I a cowboy fan.
Been asking myself this for a while now. Heck I even said yesterday. I’ve accepted the fact this team probably won’t win anything for another 10-15 years if at all. Born and raised a fan and that’s the only reason why I still care. My entire family are fans. But over the years I find myself invested watching certain teams now. My father was friends with his longtime assistant Ms. Love, but I do not like Jerry Jones, he only hired BP to get his stadium built, he uses the Cowboys to build his other business ventures. Jerry does not care about winning. You can choose to believe it or not. I’ll take other players who’ve left and openly talked about player facilities, training staffs etc… In an area where he isn’t beholden to a cap he’s cheap, an area that is absolutely critical to a franchise. To me this says everything I need to know about Jerry.

People just need to google the things Gruden said and the idea will fade quickly.
Exactly. Coogs brain is cooked on this one. He thinks young men will listen to someone who does not hold himself accountable and has the mentality of a Bubba from the 1930s.

Not to mention he has a lower winning percentage than Jeff Fisher. 53% of the N.F.L. comes from the same background for which Gruden made insufferable comments on. Dak is one of them not to mention the majority of the N.F.L.

But somehow fans from the land of Nod such as Coog think these guys are going to put all that to the side, swallow their pride, and get chewed out by a Bubba with a lower winning percentage than Jeff Fischer who has been out of the league due to his own ignorance.

Well, you said I’m killing you. You need more coffee. I wasn’t sure if you were keeping the conversation straight. It went pretty quickly to ugly. And that was not my intention.
see every time we get off track, you reel me back in!!! Appreciate it

yeah that's why they're suggestions, same way me or you have no actual power to get someone in place, so for the time being speculation ideas etc, welcome to a blog lounge!!

Some of us like to talk about realistic ideas. I’ve been here since 2004, but thanks for your “welcoming”.

Yes what they did in 24 really showed us, huh?
Understanding what they did in 24 and what actually happened. We had the talent, but we also had the massive massive amount of injuries and not just on one side of the football.

I take that word serious that's all, if you say it, mean it!
I did mean it, I consider all the people on this forum cowboy Brothers. I say it constantly. We’re family, and family fight. But at the end, we’re all here for the same thing, go Cowboys. Over 100,000 posts on the Cowboys forums. I’ve only pressed the report button once. And I wish I didn’t do that.
like I said, before football is very emotional, people take it seriously,
It can get ugly real fast when someone doesn’t agree or disagree with them. I consider myself an individual. I and I only choose what I like or don’t like.
i’ll remember not to include you with that word. I respect your feelings.

If anyone is tough on quarterbacks via knowing the plays and being prepared it's John Gruden, the way he grilled those quarterbacks when he wasn't coaching, seeing how much they know the game was special. I think he's the kind of guy Dak needs, he won't be easy on Dak at all, and that's what Dak needs. We need to stop coddling a 10 year vet as if he's a rookie.

As far as holding Jerry accountable, there's nothing to Gruden being a coach that says he's a doormat. He'll tell Jerry off, and I could see John not making it all the years in his contract due to them being at odds over things often!

We shall see what happens, please give your thoughts
Gruden doesn't have the moxy to do what would have to be done.
Any coach that takes the Cowboys job has to be willing to cut Dak, and I don't see anyone willing to do that.
A new headcoach is saddled with Dak's four year deal, just like McCarthy was four years ago.
I don't blame Mike for wanting out.
Four more years with Dak would have forever linked him to Dak's failures.
