Zeke Elliott is about to takeover the NFL
Didn't they say his number could still change? People who already bought the jersey could be s.o.l. I'm sure these sales will solidify his #21 status, though.
I agree, I wish Zeke got 25, and Dak could've got 15 or 5.
I think Dak is going with #4 to honor his mom who I think died of cancer two years ago. Her B-day is Sep 4th.
Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was the fourth overall pick in last Thursday’s draft, but he’s first overall in jersey sales among NFL rookies.
That’s right, #21 is #1 when it comes to national sales through the first full week after the draft, according to Fanatics.com. And thanks to Elliott’s popularity, the Cowboys have been the highest-selling team nationally on Fanatics.com since draft day.
The two top QBs that were drafted ahead of Elliott are in his rearview mirror. Carson Wentz, the second overall pick by the Philadelphia Eagles, was the second-best selling jersey. As for the overall #1 pick of the draft, quarterback Jared Goff of the Rams? He’s currently third behind Elliott and Wentz.
Another quarterback who was selected in the first round, Paxton Lynch, did not crack the top 3 among NFL rookies, but he did propel his team – the Broncos – to the second highest selling team, trailing only the Cowboys.

the energy around the team this summer is going to be fantastic.
I usually buy several jerseys each year for myself and family and friends. The current Cowboys draft class shows me the Cowboys organization is no longer worthy of my hard earned dollars. I will not buy game tickets and I sure as heck won't be endorsing that POS idiot Elliott. My brother says he will buy me an Elliott Jersey but I've already warned him I will burn it if he does.
Wow, that is some hate going on there.
No, it's disappointment.

Not to mention all the Ohio State fans that root for their own in the NFL.
It sounds childish to me...........wanted and Xbox and got a Playstation instead
