America's
Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was the fourth overall pick in last Thursday’s draft, but he’s first overall in jersey sales among NFL rookies.

That’s right, #21 is #1 when it comes to national sales through the first full week after the draft, according to Fanatics.com. And thanks to Elliott’s popularity, the Cowboys have been the highest-selling team nationally on Fanatics.com since draft day.

The two top QBs that were drafted ahead of Elliott are in his rearview mirror. Carson Wentz, the second overall pick by the Philadelphia Eagles, was the second-best selling jersey. As for the overall #1 pick of the draft, quarterback Jared Goff of the Rams? He’s currently third behind Elliott and Wentz.

Another quarterback who was selected in the first round, Paxton Lynch, did not crack the top 3 among NFL rookies, but he did propel his team – the Broncos – to the second highest selling team, trailing only the Cowboys.

When you are put in charge of where my dollars are spent, I'll give darn. Until then...

you weren't talking about spending money, you said you would burn the jersey of someone gave it to you....you were whining about the pick and throwing a temper tantrum

What's it going to be then, eh?

There is a little thing that scares me about Elliott and it is that he has a little rock star in him.

It would be better if Cowboys merchandise sales would tank and that stadium was only half full every home game. All that profit is keeping Jones fat and happy and not forcing him to feild a championship team.

This post and your avi screams "Get off my lawn".

If EE comes out strong and they get him "going"....... The team, coaches. fans, the city will feed off that momentum.

It is a lot to put on a rookie......but that's why he went 4 as a RB.... for that spark on this particular team. I agreed 100% with the pick. But only time will tell if it pans out.

it already exists. He is bringing the same type of energy romo brought that 06 summer going into camp and dez that 2010 summer.

this town thrives on offense, the stadium crowd goes on offense. This guy is going to be like a bolt of lightning to the stadium. I can't wait.

If I didn't have a personal conviction about not buying jerseys of players younger than me, I'd buy one.

...read the whole thing. I was taking about spending money too but if you weren't addressing that part then, fine. I told them not to give me the jersey because I would burn it. That's fair warning, without the warning it's wrong to burn a gift... see the difference. I'm civilized like that.

I have a right to like or dislike the pick. So...

You're the last person I'd guess would support the crop top. I'm still baffled by it. And now the daily reminder:omg::laugh:

That's funny.......I got nothing against personal flair or celebrations....the NoFunLeague is far too Draconian for me...

Yeah, we hear this all the time. It's like people/"fans" think Jerry doesn't realize the additional billions he'd make if the Cowboys won the Super Bowl.

If only Jerry could add jersey sales to his salary cap ------------------------------------------------> Championship.
