He could know plenty. Not even saying he doesn't. But you'll forgive me if I don't take those SB rings as proof positive of his ability to diagnose what may ail the current team.
Executing it yourself vs diagnosing it in others is two different things.
One might also conclude that since Nate demonstrated enough talent, heart, character and smarts to be a leader on multiple SB championship teams that he would demonstrate the same in his post-playing days circumstances too since he obviously knows the formula.
Ooops! Turns out, this all-knowing champ also knows very much how to act like a low life.
Use Nate as your guide all you like. Me, I'm going to be a bit more discriminating.
And what will we say should Dallas find a way to overcome their lack of heart and actually win a playoff game in 2008. Are we to believe they will have suddenly grown a heart?
And do the NYG deserve any credit at all? Should we really be that embarrassed? Afterall, they similarly went into GBay and beat that very good team, and then shocked the world by bringing down the only 18-0 team in SB history. How heartless must those teams be? When you apply a little bit of logic, I'm just not sure that Nate's comments all add up
