He hasn't. Thompson has been dreadful. That's not an endorsement of Woods but Thompson has been much worse. And Thompson hasn't been all that good for years before this one. If you can only replace on S, it had better be Thompson. He's complete trash.

Williams and Looney have been disappointing.

Pollard has been disappointing.

Everyone on defense minus Aldon and Joe Thomas have been disappointing.

Joe Thomas hurt us bad on several key 3rd and 4th down conversions that kept drives alive and put points on the board for the Seahawks.

Thompson is by far the easiest choice IMO.

When he won the job and they cut Clinton-Dix, I knew we were screwed. Thompson is a liability, probably even worse than Heath.

i can't believe ha-ha couldn't beat out Thompson or woods. i mean our safety play has to be one of the worst in the nfl.

How many wide open buys where the safety should be do we have to see every game?

Well we had hoped they would upgrade the S spot. We didn't know at the time that they would eventually start Thompson at S. LOL.

I mean if you had told us that was going to be the case, even the most diehard Heath haters would have taken him back.
