A first next year is equivalent to a second this year. See some of the Patriots trades for an example of trading their second for a first next year. But since the Seahawks like the guy the only incentive for them to trade him is if you knock their socks off with a first and extra. I think there is some trade flexibility w/out having to sacrifice a first. Just my opinion. What does it hurt to ask?
