Guyton and Smith both need to get much better. Did Mazi play? I didn’t even notice him. That’s 3 years of 1st who haven’t developed yet. I think the OL will get better but you can’t expect much when 3 years of 1sts still have to develop. Then no talent from the 2nd rounders. I’d stick to building the defense, the Oline will get better

Aside from Dak and MM struggling, these two rookies should not see the field again in 2025…

Guyton kills drives with either penalties or sacks.

Carson when playing gets cooked religiously.
And he can’t tackle…
Guyton didn't play today, but Richards didn't do a bad job.

Under what circumstances is AJ Brown singled up on a rookie 5th round pick . Where is safety help.
.
This is the problem though...you can't play with help overtop every rep. If you're going to start in this league you need to be able to win 1v1 on occasion. If you can't do that then you're not a starting caliber player. This defense can't play the run as is, so they need extra guys in the box already. This team just needs better players all over the field.

How much of the O Line issue is on Solari, the O Line as a whole started declining last season and he has always a below average line his entire career

Mukuamu finally replaced Carson and looked much more comfortable in coverage . No one gets benched in Dallas

I thought both QB’s could not use the excuse of the Line . Interesting to see how Asim Richards grades out .
Yeah just from casually watching it seems like Richards did fine at LT. It would be nice if he could get a few more starts at LT somehow. Its a super small sample size so far so I dont want to get too ahead of myself, but If he can be a legitimate option for 2025 that honestly would be a game changer.

Going into the draft most reported that Guyton has great upside/potential but will struggle some while learning technique and switching from right to left.

He make mistakes but he is still young and learning. At worst he could be swapped over to RT as Steele has not done well since his injury.

Also of all the coaches that need replaced I would argue that oline ooach Solari needs to be the first.

I do think Carson was a steal in the round we got him in. He is a rookie that shows flashes. He was not meant to be thrusted into a starting position but injuries made it so. And he even was injured before coming back for this past game.

The whole team, especially defense, is struggling. Lack of your top 4 pass rushers is going to make it hard for anyone in the secondary.

These two are not like Taco, Hill or BossmanFat.
Most people don't know this but Guyton only had 70 snaps in college at left tackle.

Most teams dont draft a guy in the 5th round and say that’s going to be my starting outside corner. The real problem here is that this front office had no foresight with regards to depth at this position group and passed up on signing veterans that would have been able to help man the ship in case of injury.

Agree completely. As soon as bland went down it was criminal to not look for a veteran to start. Carson would probably be fine in a rotational role. He’s clearly not ready for 50+ snaps though.

Carson is horrible!!!! How the heck did he get the number 21. Seatbelt.??? Yea.. you were in a seat belt. Unable to get loose to cover their wide receivers
Prime should be allowed to rip the jersey off his back.

Carson can't help it.. He's slo. He runs 4.6. 4.6 corners can only be good in zone and if they're great at jamming at the line.

Have Richards and Guyton as your young tackles make Steele depth .

Sorry but all the more reason to keep them out there. This year is now about draft position and reps for the young guys.

Strongly disagree. At this point they should play every snap. We are already looking at 2025 since 2024 is over and the more experience those guys get the better they will be.
Agree. Players get better by playing. We aren’t going to the playoffs. Losing out is actually best thing that could happen. You need to be playing all the young players to get them reps and evaluate if they are getting better
