Yes, actually, there are quite a few people who would find either of those references offensive.
I don't. There are other slurs for people that I do find very offensive but not those. But, yes, there are people out there who would be very offended by it, regardless of how either of us feel about it.

80% of people really? And you of course have factual evidence to back this up with where all people were polled on this and 80% said they weren't offended? Or are you just picking a number and passing it off as fact?
Let me make this clear. I agree with you that it's a stupid argument and it's stupid that there is stuff about this every single year.
I don't think you should have to change your name and I think it's silly that a group of people are out there pissing and moaning so much about this that they're trying to get it done.
