#1 Scott Norwood
#2 a very good skins team
#3 one of the greatest teams of all time
#4 one of the greatest teams of all time

Norwood could have an should have beaten the Gaints - Bills a much better team

Thats a good question. You would think it could be like former coaches committe or something. No matter who does the voting, there is no way to eliminate bias. I have doubts Larry Allen gets in his first year eligible.

I don't have any doubt... He'll be a 1st ballot hall of famer!

Does anyone think that the Hall of Fame Game for 2010 could feature our Cowboys with Emmitt being the obvious choice for the #1 inductee next year?
I doubt it.

Seems like we have to struggle to get anyone to that part of Ohio.

Cowboys vs. Niners

That would be perfect.

Emmitt and Jerry going in and a game between the two teams who dominated the conference during that time.

As much as I hate to say it, that Skins team was one of the best teams of all time as well. One particular stat sticks out....the Skins defense that year had 50 sacks. The Skins O-Line that year only gave up 9 sacks.

That's amazing.

Should be Cowboys vs. Niners imo. Isn't Rice elgible as well next year?
That is what I hope even though I hate 5 pre-season games.

I wish Jay Novacek would get consideration. He was a main reason why we won those SBs. He wasn't a part of the triplets, but he was money. He also did plenty of damage in the postseason and even the SBs.

Unfortunately, he and Moose will probably be on the outside looking in, and that is a travesty.

Of course, I personally feel that there are legitimately almost 20 Cowboys who deserve to be in the HOF that are not in.

I know other teams have players that deserve to be there as well, but I don't care about them, I am a Cowboys fan. I only care about my team. The one exception is Tommy Nobis. He was a freakin beast, unfortunately he had to play for Atlanta.

RB: Emmitt Smith (SOON)
FB: Darryl Johnston
WR: Drew Pearson
TE: Jay Novacek
OL: Larry Allen (SOON), John Niland, Blaine Nye, Ralph Neely
DL: Harvey Martin, Charles Haley
LB: Chuck Howley, Lee Roy Jordan
CB: Cornell Green, Everson Walls, Deion Sanders (SOON)
S: Cliff Harris, Charlie Waters, Darren Woodson

I agree with all but Charlie Waters. He was the definition of solidity. But he wasn't lights out HoF.

Doesn't Charlie hold the record for most post season interceptions...just saying...

Yeah. I'm not saying he's not a great player. But Cliff Harris changed the safety position. He became the model.

Charlie deserves Ring of Honor, though.
