Cris Carter could be elected as well.casmith07;2874480 said:I think he might be eligible in one more year.
John Randle is eligible next year too though...maybe Cowboys-Vikings?
No, Rice is eligable next season. Tim Brown is also eligable. You would think those two are slam dunks just like Emmitt. You never know however. Chris Carter, Andre Reed and Shannon Sharpe aren't in the Hall yet and I would have bet the house all three would have been first ballot guys. The NFL Hall of Fame voters, just like the baseball voters, are absolute morons.casmith07;2874480 said:I think he might be eligible in one more year.

At least they are getting their props from the HOF sports writers. The Cowboys teams were penalized for losing Super Bowls.ScipioCowboy;2874699 said:If Andre Reed is elected into HOF, he will be the fifth player from those dynastic Bills teams of the early 90s to be inducted.
How did they not win at least one Super Bowl?
They had the misfortune of being the second best team in the NFL four years in a row. The one season (1990) they caught a break and didn't have to play the best team (49ers) in the Super Bowl, they found a way to screw the pooch.ScipioCowboy;2874699 said:If Andre Reed is elected into HOF, he will be the fifth player from those dynastic Bills teams of the early 90s to be inducted.

#2 a very good skins team
#3 one of the greatest teams of all time
#4 one of the greatest teams of all time
CowboyMike;2874710 said:Yeah, and as of next year, we'll have three members from those teams in the Hall of Fame.
The Bill might have five.
Looks like we're being penalized for winning those Super Bowls too.

Ironically, the 1995 Cowboys team will have at least five players inducted, and they were worse than either the 1992 or 1993 team. It's a testament to the importance of depth.

CowboyMike;2874723 said:1995: Aikman, Irvin, Emmitt, Deion, Larry Allen?
IMO, Moose Johnston deserves to get in. Can anyone name a better fullback? And he forced the NFL to create the position in the Pro Bowl.
Darren Woodson deserves it, and probably a couple of the O-line from then. It's a crime that Charles Haley isn't in. He's only not in because he wasn't nice to the media, and that's a crime.
Why the hell does the media vote for the HoF anyway?
