Movie or TV show? I thought I heard something about a TV show on the CW but I may be wrong on that.
Either way not sure how I feel about it. If they did anything I would prefer a continuation more than a reboot though they did already try that with the sequels (1st being eh and the 2nd being watchable IMO). I'd worry a reboot becoming a reimagining.

i heard it is being produced by Warner Bros. i saw one article referencing it to as a CW production series.
While another article was indicating that it was a reboot film in the making.
Anytime there's talk of a reboot, i thought that tends to indicate a film.
The original had some intriguing notable actors-actresses who went on to more popular spotlights and careers.
I liked Lost Boys because
1) i love vampire movies
2) it was a well made comedy horror.
3) Well developed characters
4) very well paced, script-plotted and provided cinematography
Aside from the first original Lost Boys .. i did not care for the two sequels that followed behind :
Lost Boys - the Tribe
Lost Boys - the Thirst
in fact i cannot even remember what plot, villains, characters (outside Froggy)
With any original or reboot or sequels i always felt it was about the directors and writers the studio hands it
over to.

Off-topic but this is about last night's episode of FBI: Most Wanted. Do not read the spoiler if you have not seen it yet. 
Seeing Jaws posted made me think of a particular scene. It was a case of international sex trafficking. A suspect was being held inside an interrogation room.
The agents finally convinced her it would be in her best interests to come clean. The agent slowly pushed a small notepad towards her on the table and said, "We need names."
The suspect looked down at the table. paused for dramatic effect, looked back at the agent and slowly told him, "You're gonna need bigger paper."
