I know he has better than average speed. I wish they would use him more in the passing game. Go CowboysHe might be the best blocking TE in the league! Once Linehan figures out his pass plays, he's going to explode
Not debating if he is a beast or not. Only his wife knows that. Just not sure where this praise came from.
His hands catching is so much better than in college, that was his knock 4.5 speed but no hands. He is a capable receiver on a team with lots of better receivers.Hanna is a poor route runner because he loses so much speed out of his breaks. That is not going to change in year 7 or wherever he is. He also lacks ball skills and hands.
As a blocker he excels. He is the best blocking TE we have had since MartyB and he is better than MartyB at blocking in space on the move.

The guy is a good blocker but I really doubt he is going to "explode" offensively at this point in his career. He's a role player who does his role well and just needs to avoid injuries so he can get on the field.
I remember some love for Swaim not long ago, guess that ship has sailedMuch like going from Free to Collins was a huge upgrade, the same can be said going from Escobar to Hanna. Like night and day
His numbers are comparable and in some cases better than the Giants Evan Engram's combine numbers. If you looked at his Combine numbers when he came out they are off-the-charts.
