Happy NFL Trade Deadline Day

yeah, but when has this team under Garrett ‘handled their business’? Not going to happen

There is a reason we have a piss poor playoff record under Garrett’s great leadership

Setting up a pre-requisite like that is me saying the Cowboys will win the SB when the sun rises in the West

sure

ok

whatever

agreed. I don't believe that bs, just arguing semantics

Cowboys should target Karl Joseph from the Raiders. He is out of favor with Gruden and has lost playing time. He and Woods would be ideal for a playoff push. Maybe a 4th Rounder for him is doable. If it is the Jones's should do it.

I do think they have something out there on the low end they're trying to work out...whether or not it gets done, we'll see.

Joseph would seem to be a low cost type move that wouldn't be horrible.

I have no idea if the Cowboys had any interest in him when he came out though.

I'll be disappointed if they don't make a move today. The coaches should all be pushing for it considering their jobs are on the line the next two months.

Agreed, you would think Garrett would be all-in on getting better today.

Unless he's so far gone, he honestly believes will will just out-fight everyone the rest of the way.

I get Jerry's optimism, there's no consequences for him. There are for Garrett.

Or maybe he's too dumb to see the deficiencies in his team.

It's been so long since anyone in this front office or coaching staff has been associated with a championship, you have to question if they even know what one looks like.

So they are trying to find a way to bring Justin Hamilton back? Saaaweet!

That has to destroy their salary cap and draft picks. Just has to. I’m not sure what salary cap Howie abides by but it doesn’t seem to be what the rest of the league is using.

It really is amazing what Roseman has done in Philly. They seem to have their backs against the cap and are continually players in FO and trading.

For all the talk about upgrading at safety, and Jerry and Co. being cheapskates for not doing it, I frankly don't think there are any safeties worth trading for. I'd go all in on Jamal Adams if he's available, but Karl Joseph? He is a push vs Heath at best. The only reason you guys are excited about him is because he is a former first round pick, never mind that he was considered to be severely overdrafted at the time.

After that, who else on the trade block is even worth a darn?

I feel like all this safety trade talk is just going to get me happy for no reason......

You and the entire board.

You have to think if we get a guy, it's going to be a guy on his 4th year, older veteran depth guy etc. I highly doubt we're going to break the bank and get a guy like Jamal Adams. I would love a guy like Justin Simmons for a decent pick

I will be prepare myself for disappointment.

Jerry and Stephen got my hopes up.
