Happy NFL Trade Deadline Day

That has to destroy their salary cap and draft picks. Just has to. I’m not sure what salary cap Howie abides by but it doesn’t seem to be what the rest of the league is using.

Lions price tag for Slay is gonna be up there. They aint getting no discounts this time around.

Sounds about right -- the Cowboys' FO relish making comments to make them sound relevant in terms of welcoming trade deadline signees but when it comes to following through with proof, that's another matter. Comments about obtaining safety help are essentially made to appease fans who hunger for results to follow these words of encouragement.

No. They just haven't found a deal they like. There is simply no question if the Seahawks would have been willing to trade Thomas for a second it would have happened.

This is far from the first year that they've known about our safety deficiency. They've made the same lame promises before to no avail. Thomas hasn't been anything special nor his old self for some time. If it's any consolation, it's possible Donovan Wilson might hopefully offer a solution next year.

That's not the point. You claimed the Cowboys just offer lip service about trades for fans. Yet they worked hard on a deal for Thomas and it fell through when Seahawks changed their tune and insisted on a first. Dallas has tried to address safety. Just haven't found the player and terms they want. Your narrative is wrong.

I'll give them credit for trying, even though they didn't make the deal tempting enough to make it happen.

Yet, they persist in the teases, time and again? Nevertheless, if they actually sign Adams, all is forgiven!
