Happy NFL Trade Deadline Day

I'm cool with them giving up a premium pick for Robby. They already have DeSean so it's pretty redundant, and it would likely end up just like the Golden Tate trade did for them.

WRs are much harder to plug and play than other positions.

Schefter said Anderson can likely be had for a 4th or 5th round pick. Hardly "premium".

Jackson may not be back, FWIW and if he does, he'll be battling the stomach injury. They are now reporting it won't get better without surgery.

To me, as long as the Eagles don't do anything, I'd consider that a good day for us even if we don't make a trade.

Harris or Slay would help fix the one real weakness they have on defense.

I agree. They're not imploding as many of us had hoped, and they just got a solid, if unexpected win in Buffalo. If they can add a player or two to strengthen some weaknesses, that's bad news for us in the race for the division title.

I think it's clear the Eagles offense misses Jackson's speed.

Case in point. His talk didn't make a win happen either did it?

But just when we think the Eagles are ready to collapse, they go into Buffalo and get a solid win.
they won't collapse but this idea they are unbeatable is laughable.
no reason to think we can't or won't beat them in philly....again.
and win the east....again.
they better hope their QB does something he hasn't....finish a season.
we handle our business....we win the East.

I'm not looking forward to the pay back game in philly.

I actually think roster for roster, we are the better team but the schedule is what worries me. They have a joke schedule after these next three games for them. We really need them to lose two of the next three (Bears, NE, Seahawks all in Philly).

He likely has a personal vendetta and only needs to play one more game. Against Dallas!!!

All kidding aside, Anderson is solid. But he’s no healthy Jackson

Exciting times.

5th for Robby? I'd be shocked.
Jackson was already back practicing end of last week, they are reporting he'll be ready to go for next week.

The one real weakness? Zeke destroyed them on the ground.
you beat me to it , plus we were pressure g Wentz into oblivion all game..

even after beating the eagles 4 straight games, 5-2 in the last 7 I believe, and this year beat them to lead the division 37-10

the eagles closet lovers always seem to be elevating them over us in every way.. coaching and GM better huh, why cant htye beat us?

you fans who do this and sit over the fence watching and inviting the enemy that cant beat us but hate you own team so much you have to always see to follow them like a closet fan.. ridiculous.. F the eagles we will beat them , they did this before Dream teams, chip Kelley's, making all the moves, they are 2-7 against us..

yet the board is full of we have horrible HC and GM RM sux we cant do this or that and drool over the beagle Sheagles...SMH and I spit in disgust..

Lets worry about US.. we will paly the game on the schedule and then worry about where we fell short should that happen but predicting losses, coaches to replace our current one , and failure is out of control after only 7 games? leading he division..

disgusting..

OH and PS you want to know what it looks like to be the best team on paper ,paper champions who a lot of the CZ crowd drooled over in the off season, its the Browns.. hows that working out .. a team who hasn't done anything really in their existence, go 7-9 and then allegedly win the offseason were the talk of the green eyed devils..LMAO it didnt work out, AGAIN..a few years back it was jacksonvile and on and on and none have been more consistent then us..yet we should do what they do? come on man!!

Sounds about right -- the Cowboys' FO relish making comments to make them sound relevant in terms of welcoming trade deadline signees but when it comes to actually following through with actual proof, that's another matter. Comments about obtaining safety help are essentially made to appease fans who hunger for actual results to follow their words of encouragement.

The Eagles are clearly willing to 'go for it'. The fact that they had offered 1st and 2nd round picks and were willing to pay Jalen Ramsey shows that.

Do these Cowboys have that same willingness to 'go for it'? Maybe, as long as that entails a 6th or 7th round pick. Much different.

I don't think anyone is saying they are unbeatable. But it's just a rational look at the situations. Other than Philly, we have yet to beat a quality team and the Eagles have two wins now over quality teams. Further, our schedule is much tougher than theirs over the 2nd half of the season and we don't have a cushion at all.

The good news is we banked a win already over them which means if we can win in Philly, that would put pressure on them. But after the next three, they have four pretty easy wins on their schedule - Miami, Skins, Giants x2. That gets them to 8 wins for sure. They need to win 2 of the other 4 - Dallas, NE, Seattle and Bears............................ and all four are in Philly.

Note, I am not saying we can't win the division or that Philly is some juggernaut. But the Cowboys have to step up their play starting now because the competition gets tougher in the 2nd half and we left ourselves no room for error when we choked games away like the Jets.

Good thing nobody's saying that then, isn't it?

no reason to think we can't or won't beat them in philly....again.
and win the east....again.

Why? Because you somehow think that we "are unbeatable"?

they better hope their QB does something he hasn't....finish a season.
we handle our business....we win the East.

Sure, but we haven't consistently "handled our business" this year.

Jackson was already back practicing end of last week, they are reporting he'll be ready to go for next week.

They said that a couple weeks ago as well and then he couldn't go. Plus, some insiders up here have said even if he's back, he's going to be battling that injury and might not be as effective.

Frankly, I think they will end up going CB before WR when all is said and done. Their CB play is dreadful, even worse than their WR play.

Schefter reporting that Le'veon Bell might be available as well.

I think they can lose two of the three, but the Bears offense is a mess and they're very beatable right now.
