Below is your response to whover you were talking to about that INT not changing the game....I did reply that the game did not hinge on it, but it changed momentum. You can tell he was trying to throw it away while throwing off his back foot.

Yes he should've either taken sack or threw closer. My point is the game did not hinge on a 2nd quarter interception. The defense from that point forward could not get off the field.

Thats on the zdefense, not Dak.

It was by far the better decision to take the sack. Why even throw it away and stop the clock for the Giants before punting it too them? Take the Sack. Keep the clock running. Force them to take a timeout then punt and cover. Field position wasn't an issue. Horrendous decision making.

That play was Prescott showing everybody who he is. You could say he was in playoff form on that play.

Game is 21-7 till dak one of two 2nd half possessions with our D taking body blows by sbark

CAN We just move on to talking about the upcoming game can we not let this go it is Thursday it is time to prepare for the Commanders just like the Cowboys are move on people please move on this is getting really old it's very depressing you all don't know how to understand it's just one loss it's far over It's in the rearview mirror move forward.. :facepalm:

Any quarterback should instinctively be looking for the sideline down marker when they are being pressured and scrambling east or west. It will be an ever-increasing steeper angle throwing the ball passed the line of scrimmage the closer you get to the sideline. The quarterback compensates by aiming in the direction of the down marker like throwing to a receiver.

What *seems* to have happened is that Dak Prescott tried to power chunk the ball out of bounds instead of aiming the ball in any way. That strategy would have also succeeded if the pass was within 10 yards of the down marker. Unfortunately, a stronger arm like Joe Milton's would have only been likely to power the ball out of bounds 10-20 yards further down the field at that same angle and pressured situation.

I accept this explanation and add the fact he was throwing off back foot which adds to the power chunk idea.

On a side note that phrase seems like a perfect meme phrase.

And Dallas would have lost 38 to 10 had Milton played quarterback because he would have turned the ball over a fumble maybe a pick six wouldn't been able to move the ball at all and the Cowboys would have had zero offense how about that news flash 0 let's pick on one play but hey breakdown the George Pickens drops all of them bad routes short routes #78 let's highlight 78 all game 'cause they're like Hey he played better than expected no he didn't prescott was able to move in the pocket better then Milton would have ever moved because Milton doesn't have pocket presents he just takes off and runs that's not what Prescott's been doing the last two years he is at 20 14 Romo level with his pocket presence you're mad didn't get the ball fired up out of bounds 2 plays after George Pickens dropped what was a very serious game changing field flipping moment in the game yeah that was all the momentum when I had the game right there not two plays later in the INT mistake so we could keep going that this all day milton would have had one of them games where we figured out he can't play in the NFL again..

I hope it feels good that the more I see the level of ridiculousness gets post games as far in a week, well there was a win or a loss it needs to be moved into your Archives..its done over finite..

So I'm glad it's gonna feel good that I'm gonna keep doing the same thing so I'm gonna keep seeing ridiculous posts and I'm gonna post on how ridiculous they are especially picking on a single play in a game that really wasn't the reason we lost the game that would be the George Pickens drop before that it would been a bad defense all game and it would have been a really bad special teams all game Shall we go on and on and on and on or shall we look to the commanders..

I'm sure glad the team doesn't do this I guarantee they're not looking at anymore film from the game and the game is in their rear view and it's preparation for the commanders started yesterday.. The 24 hour rule is supposed to be in place but apparently you all have gone borderline crazy with ridiculousness and you're picking out plays that really had nothing to do with the loss expecting perfection from our quarterback is a full time job in here for some of y'all and don't understand that when you look around the league even Patrick Mahomes was pedestrian he threw an interception never threw the ball more than 10 yards and won the game because of why that's right he had a running game and he had a great defense great special teams and great coaching but hey let's act like he didn't have a bad game or an average game we just see him as the winning quarterback of a team that carried his butt once again.

I do and I will continue to use it No I'm not moving on from the thread you want to open up this can of worms you want to keep talking about things that to me were inconsequential in the game The quarterback had zero blame in this game because we watched the same game and you wanna come up with some graph and show us where he should have thrown it and say something so ridiculous like Milton would have got it out of bounds yeah Milton wouldn't have played well enough to win this game he would actually been the reason we lost the game because he is not an NFL starter and he would absolutely had further behind all game that's the truth but hey the man can throw it out of bounds he should come in for two plays a game just for our quarterback sneak that wouldn't be a sneak yeah that's the other thread and because everyone would know he's in there just to run the quarterback sneak and the man would have thrown the ball out of bounds those were been two plays and then the rest of his actual football playing the rest of the game would have been so bad we wouldn't even been in the game..
