Yeah, forgive me for wanting football and not hollywood bs.

This was directed at the ones on the board who wanted Hard Knocks, but not real football?

I liked HK. There wasn't all that much drama this year, but the inside stories are cool to see, and you some perspective on how decisions are made and how the actual team differs from what you read online and see in preseason games.

Wade did slip in my eyes by calling Loeber out like that, and saying he's not a football player.

That is messed up, when he's still hoping for another team to give him a shot. That was uncalled for by Wade...he should know better then to say that on HBO...even if it's true.

Yea ,that bothered me too ...I was really hoping the Commanders would add Loeber to thier 53 man roster :laugh1: Think Wade Think!

What a concept... a reality show with some - yep you guessed it - reality in it.

Oh, the horror.

And finally... Not one single shot of Dave Campo. It's about time.

Campo got some face time talking about Cowboys greats. I remember b/c Everson Walls was the first name out of his mouth. It did look like he'd got some new hair dye, though.

Did anyone catch at the end of hard knocks when T.O said

"What better way to go out on top than be a super bowl champ with the Dallas Cowboys"

you guys think if he wins the super bowl he will retire ??

I know he had an extension but he is 35...

Absolutely have loved this entire series, its been compelling television the entire time.

Loved Barber playing the piano, I don't care what team you're a fan of, you gotta love that kid.

I really like all the shots of the coaches talking in the meeting rooms, breaking down players and such. I used to coach, and I do some side coaching jobs now, and seeing stuff like that takes me back. Nothing like a candid conversation between two coaches about a player, I've seen the gloves come off before.

Last, not sure if many of you realized/thought about this, but that 4th clock in TOs house was a reference to Tennessee Chatanooga where he played his college ball.

Is there anything MBIII can't do? Last thing I expected to see is him playing the piano and doing it quite well.

Note to Deion....Your boat seemed a bit too big for the "pond" in your back yard.

I didn't realize that the Cowboys made their cuts by ambushing the player as he walks through the door. Did they show this the first time they were on Hard Knocks?

Is there ANY owner in the NFL that cares about the players on a personal level more than Jerry? I doubt it.

Overall, the series was ok for me. I think two hour episodes would have been better.

Yeah, you'll have to forgive ajk23az, he just prefers real contributions and not just dramatic bs.

I think he's being more figurative, as in if he wins the Super Bowl as a Cowboy and then retires as a Cowboy in a few years, that's still going out on top as a Super Bowl champ. T.O. just isn't a guy who's going to retire as long as his body is in the shape it's in, and as long as he loves the spotlight and the competition of the game.

You might hear him next year saying "What better way to go out on top than go back to back as a Dallas Cowboy?" :D
