In defense of Adam Jones...Tank did wack him kinda hard. Even though it was all in good fun.

Adam was just protecting his manhood be letting Tank know not to do it again. He doesn't want to be seen as a pushover like Barbie...especially on camera. And I think Tank kinda knew he did go over board a bit, by trying to give him a weak pound afterwards...lol.

You are absolutely right, even though Adam has to remain some what humble and low key he can not be taken as a push over or wussie.

Yeah, we should name him after something big, intimidating, and kind of stocky looking... like - Oh I dunno - a Tank?

You didn't think "Tank" was his real name, did you?

way to ruin the joke

Campo got some face time talking about Cowboys greats. I remember b/c Everson Walls was the first name out of his mouth. It did look like he'd got some new hair dye, though.

Really? Well, I missed the first couple of minutes... Shoulda known.:

Wade did slip in my eyes by calling Loeber out like that, and saying he's not a football player.

That is messed up, when he's still hoping for another team to give him a shot. That was uncalled for by Wade...he should know better then to say that on HBO...even if it's true.

If the guy can't play than I highly doubt it will be Wade saying so that makes other coaches think that.

Other teams will do their homework and make their own judgment.

I imagine that if another team called Wade to ask about Loeber he'd have said the same thing. Doesn't really make any difference that he said it on Hard Knocks. Also, I highly doubt it would deter another team from signing him if they like what they saw of him on tape.

Aside from that, what coach doesn't believe in his own abilities enough to think they couldn't turn him into a 'football player' if they had a need for a player with his talents?

PacMan, anyone else have a bad feeling this kid is still bound to screw up?...Maybe it's me but he still seems to have a screw loose...That exchange with Tank was pretty uncomfortable...Looked like Pac was about to take on Tank...Nevermind that odd exchange with Deion...The kid seems a bit disturbed, IMHO...I remember the fears etc. on Tank and TO but neither one of them came off like this.

And as the OP mentioned, TO IS a positive lockerroom influence...Pretty night & day from the ole T.O. eh?...Remarkable

The cuts with Wade had to have been even harder on the fans/viewers than they were on the player, IMHO...How often is he going to give us the on screen sniffle?

Amendola part was kewl, especially taking less money...Gotta endear him to many fans.

Well, Hard Knocks, come and gone...Some good things overall but some things that also left me wanting more.

I was disappointed that little to nothing was covered on our 1st rounder Jenkins...Why was that?...Was he not camera friendly?

Nothing can touch Papa Garrett "jogging," but it's nice to see Wade trying to keep in shape.

If they had a race I think Wade would struggle to win.

I thought they were joking?

Also anyone notice that Pac was not at Hooters when he got the call?

It got me pumped. When it ended, I was thinking I wish there were more episodes. Then I thought about Sunday. It's time for the real games! HBO/NFL Films presented this Hard Knocks perfectly. They really deserve some type of award. I'm not just saying it because I'm a Cowboys fan either.
No, hard knocks is really well done. A lot of us would watch it no matter what team was profiled.

If i had HBO yea but I don't think I would watch an online stream for another team.

Watching the Hurd segment made me sick. Sometimes I wonder what be going through our coaches mind.

More-

I thought it wa ironic that when pac got the call there were like 3 cop cars behind him.

At 1st I thought it was weird that Wade ran to the door to meet the player he was going to cut. But after seeing how emotional he got, I think it was b/c if the guy sat down and he really started talking to him he might break down

the cuts were hard I just watched them since I missed them last night and it looked like it took a lot out of wade.

You ever hear an exchange that 'sounds' like it's joking but both parties aren't necessarily joking?...That's what that one sounded like...Can you imagine a DLineman backing up his ribbing on a 5'8" corner?

Tank is so massive he looks like a caricature of himself.

I hope he's not juicing.

That didn't look like a restaurant parking lot. Just sayin.'

Who were those guys with Pacman? Were they the people who Jerry has following him everywhere he goes?

As much as I want Jones to play well and stay out of troubl, he just does not come off as a good person to me. He has the maturity level of a 19 year old and you can really tell that he wasn't raised in a good environment. You can't just change someone's mentality.
