Not too many votes for Mrs. Price, huh? I thought she was hilarious, but I can see how some people might find her a bit annoying. I loved how they huddled up and on three said "Mrs. Price!"

It's not Polk, it's Todd Lowber and he looked pretty good catching passes, but he's a long-shot for sure.
Thanks. You are correct. It was Lowber who I was writing about.

I liked the Price bit. I about fell out of my chair when Romo talked about the Mrs. Price alarm clock. :lmao:

Oh I loved the Ms. Price. Especially when she yelled Troy into the phone.

Can you imagine Troy's face on the other end of the line?

Everybody pretty much nailed the good parts. Funny stuff all around.

I thought the Wade piece was kind of a PR spin. 1st episode, he was made to look like a boob with jerry as the puppetmaster.

This version is better than the firs Hard Knocks...

While watching it I thought the same thing. I guess I was not the only one that got the feeling that Jerry had a word and wanted Wade to be seen in a better light and also Lattimore. I know Jerry has said that he thought they were unfair to him in the first episode.

I am sure Jerry had a word with them and they probably listened.

I liked the part where they showed him on the train, sleeping with his mouth wide open.

No kidding. Campo is on my "worst" list. The more I see of him, the more I'm sick of him. Why is he such a big focus of this as well as other video and interviews from camp? He's gotten way more attention than even Brian Stewart. And I didn't much care for how he was out giving everyone the "attaboys" as they came off the field like it was his defense. Enthusiasm is fine, but like I've said before, I wish he'd know his role. He's almost acting like he's the defensive coordinator IMO.

Man, between him and Coach Joe, this team sure had a bunch of attention hounds back in the day.

They're focusing on Campo because he was the head coach the last time Hard Knocks featured the Cowboys. He has come back home as an assistant, which makes a great human interest story.

As far as Stewart not getting more attention, you're right, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't have a few "attaboys" of his own, maybe even more than Campo. We're just not seeing it.

They've done a great job of giving us variety. They even interviewed Brett Maxie in last night's episode. We may never "see" him again.

Imo, this past episode had too much fluff and not enough football for someone like me who is looking for football info.

The best part to me was when the assistant, (or team official, I didn't catch who it was) said about Felix..."I know we picked him in the first round, but we may have stole one when we got him." (Or something to that effect.)

That shows how much they think of him and how impressed they are with his skill, character, etc.

I had a quick question/observation.

When Lowber was screwed out of playing time was that on him or Read? I haven't had a chance to go back and catch the dialogue between the two, but I thought that screwup was on Read. If so, no wonder our special teams was in shambles when our coach doesn't even know who was suppose to be in there.

I agree. At one point, Read even said it was his fault, then he proceeded to chastise Lowber. Kinda strange, really. Read needs to get it together.

That's the way I saw it. He confused Lowber.

Kinda felt sorry for him and Lattimore. They just want a chance to get on the field......and then there's Bennett.

Watching Bennett on there is sickening.

Him and Campo getting so much face time is almost ruining it for me.

Almost.

Loved the stuff on Zach Thomas and the train ride.

This particular epside was all about family -- Jerry and his grandkids, Wade and his family, and the Garretts.

That was kinda weak. I definatly thought that was on Read. Lowber was heading out on coverage and then somebody (Read?) definatly told him to get off the field. In fact, several other joined in on that. Lowber was definatly confused and so, he came back to the side line. That whole thing was a cluster and I agree that it's not hard to understand why we are having issues with our special teams. Excellent observation IMO MrM.

I loved the way TO played around with Jerry's grandson. Some kids might have cried, but he was a really good sport.

My favorite parts were:

1) Mrs. Price!!! (priceless)

2) Roy Williams mimicking TO on the beach and sneaking into his room.

3) Tank on the sideline cursing

4) Papa Garrett "running" like he has done every day for 28 years straight

5) The continued saga of Martellus Bennett
Cricket on food...

That guy just cracks me up. He could be reading a tornado warning and I'd likely laugh
