Hello Cowboys nation, not here to troll but I'm very confident my team this week and would like to talk some hardcore x's and o's.

Likewise it seems like you guys are very confident and overlooking us big time. But I caution that would be a major mistake and please keep in mind the following:

- We have won 7 straight games which is currently the longest streak in the NFL aside from the two undefeated teams.

- Norv Turner is 10-0 in December, Phillip Rivers is 15-0 in December and is primed for a mvp type of finish.

- We have lit up both NFC East teams we've played this year for big yardage offensively.

- Our WR's and TE's are going to be a major problem for your undersized secondary, and also our screen passing game will exploit what looks to be one of your major weaknesses.

Good luck this weekend and I hope you make the playoffs but I fully expect us to walk out of Dallas with a decisive victory.

We'll see. I expect a good game. Good luck. Though I'll say you clearly don't much, at all, about what is going on cause no one is over looking the Chargers. But nice job of trying to play the no one respects you card when there isn't a card there to even play.

Perhaps you should bother to look some things up and see that Romo has won games in the 4th quarter. He's brought us back to win some games in the 4th quarter.

But I have nothing against Rivers. He's one of my absolute favorite players in the entire league.

Yea i'm interested in seeing who he's faced. I mean regardless its impressive but that record does seem inflated. You would think being that good in December would lead to more success in the post season.

Who cares who they faced? 15-0 as a team is 15-0 as a team. That's real good team ball being played by the Chargers in December the last few years. I take nothing away from them for that.

15-0 in December is better that what Romo has done against teams in December.

It's also better play by the Chargers TEAM than the Cowboys TEAM. One of these days you'll learn it's a team game.

Now excuse me for not knowing Romo's december w/l record but I know it's bad, also I know he's 0-2 in the playoffs as well.

Yes neither has a world title, but Rivers is far more accomplished and considered an elite/top 5 QB in this league.

Yes going back to 2006 when he became the starter after Brees left. This kid is phenomenal and any non biased nfl fan outside of San Diego must realize this....

Not to use it as an excuse, but part of the reason we haven't won a superbowl yet is because all our key players (Rivers, LT and Gates) have been hurt in the playoffs.

Rivers had no business playing a few years ago in New England yet we still almost knocked off the Pats who were 17-0 at the time.

With that said, 3-3 is still respectable and Rivers has never missed the playoffs yet and looks to be well on his way back this year as well.

I remember a Drew Bledsoe led Cowboys beat a Drew Brees and Prime LT Chargers team....Just like that game you will make a final drive and not make it. Mike Jenkins will be the one with the INt this time

I was at that game, but that was back in the Brees/Schotty era anyway (and Brees was an entirely different QB than he is today). Phillip was in his 2nd year and not playing.

Great game overall though and you guys did have a good win that day.

What's this crap about Cleveland moving the ball in garbage time? They marched it down the field the entire first half:

1st Drive: 10 plays, 72 yds, TD
2nd Drive: 7 plays, 48 yards, Missed FG
3rd Drive: 16 plays, 69 yards, fumble (inside the 15)
4th Drive: 5 plays, 14 yards, only punt in first half
5th Drive: 3 and out - only drive of 3rd quarter
6th Drive: 9 plays, 68 yds, TD
7th Drive: 7 plays, 58 yds, TD
8th Drive: 11 plays, 28 yds, FG

That's 6 out of 8 series that were either scoring drives or ended in scoring position. That's 203 yards in the first half (more than half their yards btw) And this is against probably the worst offense in the NFL. They couldn't do better than 2 punts? Really?


And you racked up yardage against the other 2 NFC East teams you played??? Does that include the massive 226 Total Yards (just 36 rushing) you accumulated against the Giants??? And wow, 331 against the Eagles, amazing (too bad you gave up over 460 yards that game). So your idea of racking up yardage is to average 278 yards a game??? Such awesome firepower!!

Garbage time stats always skew the reality of the situation....that's exactly why McNabb and the Eagles racked up big time yards against us as well, the game was already well in hand....

But I don't live on past accomplishments or lack thereof. I simply live in the present. And based on this game I believe we have the by far the better coach and QB and that will be the difference in this one. Seriously Romo and Wade Phillips track record speaks for itself compared to Rivers/Turner.

You state that you don't live on past accomplishments... then post comments like this...? This is not a playoff game, so their playoff records have no bearing on this, or any other game. You also talk about Rivers being 15-0 in December, and ignore all posts about the strength of his opponents, but that is the epitomy of living off of past accomplishments. Do those 15 wins do anything to the scoreboard on Sunday? Or is it just something that you get to use to try to prove that you will win this week?
