It don't matter, I expect Cowboys fans to be arrogant. They damn well should be. After all you have 5 world titles, we have zero. And I respect your team and franchise for that.

But I don't live on past accomplishments or lack thereof. I simply live in the present. And based on this game I believe we have the by far the better coach and QB and that will be the difference in this one. Seriously Romo and Wade Phillips track record speaks for itself compared to Rivers/Turner.

Interesting. So you don't live on past accomplishments and such, you live in the present, except then you turn around and try to make your entire point based off of past accomplishments.

I love it when people come in here and talk out of their *** trying to be clever then aren't even quick enough to realise that they were so clever they made themselves look foolish.

That's a given. It's been proven many times over the last couple of years. He won't come here at all. But I bet, as some point, during the lead up to the game he'll come in here and post that he'll be here Sunday win or lose.

Which, of course, he won't be.

Philly lost to Oakland this year....

When will people realize that nothing is a gimme in this league.

If you say so when Romo couldn't even beat a terrible Commanders team in December but hey it's a NFCE division rivalry game those things are toss ups....

When are you going to respond to the people who asked you about these two-faced ignorant statements? Does it hurt when you speak out both sides of your mouth to suit your own agendas? :rake:

Which game is this game? The one that hasn't happened yet?

This would explain why our "hardcore Charger fan" hasn't returned. He's off visiting the old west or the 1950s.

I don't think there is any way the Cowboys can over look the Chargers, and vice-versa. I do believe it is going to be a good game this weekend, and I am glad CBS is nationally televising it.

I re-watched the Chargers vs Browns game last night, and only watched the defense while fast forwarding the offense. I noticed we were trying a ton of stuff we usually don't do. Mainly, we did about 95% zone defense the whole game. It looks to me that we were working on what we suck at against a bad team so it wouldn't hurt us too bad. Hence, we only let them score 7 points before garbage time. Usually we do a lot of man-press coverage. Against the Browns we did almost all straight up zone defense, not to mention four of our starters were out resting who will be back this week. So if people have the notion that the Cowboys can walk all over us, that is not the case. Pluss, the Browns were down 27-7 in the 4th quarter, then garbage time came.

But the same could be said for people writing off the Cowboys because it's December. I watched a lot of the Cowboys game last week, and Romo played great from what I saw. It was the fumbles that killed you guys. A key for the Cowboys is to not let Sproles do anything in the screen game, but that is a huge task for such a small guy.

I don't know where I'm going with this. Basically, I think both teams scores of their previous week don't tell the true story for either team.

The Chargers vs Browns score makes it look like we are sucking wind on defense.

The Cowboys vs Giants score make it look like Romo is at it again in December.

Anyways, I won't be here after the game win or lose, but I'll be here throughout the week because I like to see what the fans of the other teams we play have to say/predict about the upcoming game. Although just like the Chargers forum, I know I'm going to get the one guy that tells me to go 'F' myself' or 'You guys suck! nany-nany-boo-boo!' I'll just ignore those ones ;)

I'm must admit that I am looking past the Chargers game, I'm looking past every game this season, all the way to the offseason and the promise of a new coach.

It likely won't be addressed. It will be ignored because he doesn't want to have to admit he was talking out of his rear.

But cut him some slack. He's not the only person who does that kind of thing and then refuses to own up to it.

Really? The facts? Would you care to enlighten us about these facts?

Wade Phillips is 0-4 in the playoffs with 3 different teams.

That is a fact my friend.

Nope I'll be here to eat crow if we lose, but I don't expect that to be the case.

Likewise, if we win I'll be here to serve crow. :D

Still waiting on those hardcore X's and O's.

Interesting fact that Phillip Rivers is 15-0 in December and doesn't have a superbowl ring.

From what I've been told, if you have A you will get B.

Only one QB wins a superbowl ring at the end of the year my friend.

But I'll take a QB that is 3-3 in the playoffs, and 15-0 in december compared to Romo who is a proven choke artist when the games actually matter.

Oh would that be those living in the past stats that you say you don't live by again?

Like I said earlier you'll be just like 99% of all the others who've said that exact same thing. You'll claim you'll be here but you won't be if the Chargers lose.

If you are I'll admit I was wrong about you but I don't think we'll see you unless the Chargers win.

There you go doing it again. What was that again about how you don't live off the past and all that blah blah blah?

You sure do seem to bring up the past an awful lot for someone who doesn't dwell on it or live off of it.

So I ask you, does A lead to B?

Hypothetically speaking, if Romo made it into the playoffs and ended up winning a Superbowl, does your argument for quarterbacks become valid anymore?

Phillip Rivers can be 15-0 in December all he wants, but if he doesn't get a superbowl ring, who cares?

He is playing in the AFC so it's harder for him to reach the superbowl then as opposed to someone from the NFC where a different representative is there each year. AFC is pretty much Pat's Colts Steelers. Steelers feel off this year though.

I hate when people talk about not making excuses all the time and then will turn around and throw this argument in there.

The Vikings and Saints are better than anything the AFC has to offer right now.

That's true, but I'm still waiting on your explanation of how this "says" that he can't win in the playoffs.

Take your time. I'll wait.
