Has any great QB had a crueler run than Tony Romo?

The man had a collarbone injury that he sat out with for seven games until he was cleared to play...next!

But yet you still admitted that it wasn't healed.

It doesn't matter if he was cleared to play. Show me the rule that says a player that is injured can't be cleared to play? It happens all the time.

What next?

Sounds like you never have plans. Lol I have a life buddy so I'll see you later on.

I have a one bedroom apartment with no windows.

I live in Madagascar and work from home.

I don't drive either.

It is what it is, bud.

Then I suggest you take up a new hobby because this one doesn't suit you...next! Lol

According to you, it doesn't.

But when a person admits that a man still has an injury that hasn't recovered, and then in the same sentence says that he's not injured, it really isn't that hard.

So I beg to differ.

Come on. Whatcha got?

And I know that "watcha" is spelled wrong. I just threw it in there.

The bon not being fully healed had nothing to do with his performances vs Miami and Carolina, it was due to rust and that he's always had turnover issues. Already pointed out that he had 3 turnovers prior to being hurt. Keep coming and I'll keep knocking you down....next!

So now you want to try and change the subject?

You come on here and base your whole crap argument bashing Romo around last year and Romo's performance while he was injured. You CITE a play in Seattle when he was the holder and label him as turnover prone.

You just go out of your way to bash him with nothing but your cherry picked nonsense. What about his 30 4th qtr game winning touchdown drives?

What about his QBR in the 4th quarter and where that ranks all time?

You admit his collarbone was still injured when he played last year, but then in the same sentence say he wasn't injured.

You are the definition of clueless. Bring it on!

Not bashing Romo just providing facts, something of which you know nothing about. Romo's collarbone not being fully healed doesn't mean he was still injured. The bone not being fully healed had no affect on his ability to throw the ball and it wasn't causing him any pain or he wouldn't have been out there. He was sacked twice against Miami and there was no problem. He could have rested his collarbone for 10+ games and it still may have been broken against Carolina. By the way better watch the name calling....next!

So having a collarbone injury, that you said was an injury, but then said it wasn't, but in the end still acknowledged that it wasn't fully healed had nothing at all to do with his performance?

LOL ok chief. The only thing you are knocking down is your reputation.

And how do you know he wasn't in pain?

You obviously had no idea that he had to take meds to play.

Keep bashing Romo and summing up his whole career based on a couple of games in which he was rushed back from a broken bone that wasn't fully healed yet. That's called playing with an injury. Something you are convinced never happens in the NFL. LOL.

Man this is fun. Whatcha got next? Are you going to keep trying to convince me that players don't play with injuries or are you finally going to realize how idiotic that is?

And I'm not calling you anything. Just judging your posts.

I said it "was" an injury and after 10 weeks it was no longer an injury because that's how much time passed by the time we played Carolina. lol My reputation is golden and destroying the credibility of posters like you is one of the reasons. The fact Romo was cleared to play is proof positive his collarbone was no longer bothering him because he's a QB who throws the ball. He made some very solid throws against Miami but had a few loose ones due to rust. No one is bashing Romo that's just your agenda. Glad you're having fun, dig your heels in because I'm not going anywhere....next! By the way I can tell this discussion is getting under your skin. :D

Or, it proves that the team was desperate to save its season by inserting a player that you have already admitted to having a bone that wasn't fully healed yet. If it was easily broken again so soon then the bone wasn't healed to withstand playing. And that's what happened.

And you are the one posting contradicting viewpoints, not me.

You insinuated that injured players never play because I reckon you think that if they are indeed allowed to play, then they can't be injured. I said that that's ridiculous because, well, it is. You attempted to walk that back, but it's too late for that.

If a player plays injured it affects his play. It's not rust. The man was playing hurt, everybody knew it. Well except you.

Come on!

Keep telling me he wasn't injured. Keep telling me that last year was a microcosm of his whole career. I'll keep telling you that you need to get your head examined because you don't know what in the hell you are talking about.

Let's go darlin'.. what else ya got.

The Cowboys had become desperate long before the Miami game but Romo wasn't ready. Where were you? Injured "QBs" don't play which is what I was referring to especially one with a broken collarbone. Your man is on the bench because he lost his job and that along with me owning you in this argument has you pissed off....next!

I might have been in the same place you were when you thought injured players don't play.

The Cowboys were still mathematically alive especially with the NFC East being so poor last year. So yea, they still thought they had a chance.

And the only thing you have owned is coming on here looking like a fool. You actually think the crap you post on here makes sense.

If he had a broken bone that wasn't fully healed, he was injured. It's something you have admitted and then walked back and then tried to rationlize.

Just go look in the mirrow and admit you have no clue as to what you are talking about and then come think of something else to come post at me, further embarrassing yourself.

Anyone who would ignore the fact Romo was obviously rusty returning from injury last season is the one looking foolish. You think you could insert him into the lineup now and he would be better than Dak and you think I look foolish? You don't have to admit you don't have a clue, it's being proven...next!

The Cowboys still had a chance but by the time Romo was ready to play the team was on life support having lost 7 straight games....next!

Hahahaha proving what?

Now you change the subject again.

I think a healthy Romo is a better player than Dak. But as long as we are winning then I'm happy if Dak is still in. You just can't get your lipstick around that can you?

Keep on bringin' it, dude. Nobody is scared of you and your wanna-be intellegent, but really clueless bravado.

Thus the reason they rushed Romo back.

The lost 7 straight but still found themselves with plenty of season left and a horrible division that they didn't want to give up on.

It's really not rocket science.

They would have played him sooner but he wasn't ready. Give it up!

This is a total team now. It's not like last year when everyone had to wait for Tony to come in and save them. Bad strategy anyway. Last years team wasn't going anywhere anyway.
