Where did you partake? Was it the genuine article or a diluted version, as I suspect you'd find in the States?I don’t remember that well (it was one of several drinks that night) but I don’t remember hallucinating. I was very hammered though.
If I were you @Hardline I’d mix it with some cold sugar water to try it. That is how many drink it.

That's pretty strong, but were you in the U.S. at the time?I was at a friends house a few days before a trip. We decided to just relax and smoke things/drink a few days before.
IIRC it was Penrod brand, and I remember that because I knew a girl named Penrod at the time. Penrod Absinthe is 140 proof according to the internet.

BTW, I don't know if I could drink anything green, without expecting it to taste minty.
If it is legal to get in the US I might buy some to try it again.
I have a bottle but I'm afraid to drink it.
I am sipping on a small glass now. It taste kinda like a black jelly bean. It's fine, the stuff here is a lot less potent. Take a shot, it won't impair you like we see in the movies.
I never heard of it.Anybody tried pulque?
Nah, but Sarek might pulque after he tries the absinthe.Anybody tried pulque?
Makes sense. According to Wikipedia, it's anise flavored.I am sipping on a small glass now. It taste kinda like a black jelly bean.
It was the "people's drink" in Mexico up until about 50 years ago, but you can still find it there.I never heard of it.
