Has anyone noticed the average football fan doesn't realize Romo has won a playoff game?

The media and most fans treat Romo like they treat Manziel. No facts what so ever to support their feelings, just media driven BS and most of it is wrong. AND the haters do not even realize they are haters, they "think" their opinion is their own, but they have been force fed that opinion over and over and over.

Please don't put Romo in the same sentence as that clown Manziel.

There was instant replay and Witten did get the first down. Replay overturned the spot even though they had now angle that showed that he was short. The NFL later admitted that the first down should not have been overturned. That blown call always bothered me worese than the fumbled snap. The Seahawks would have had 1:45 to get into field goal range and most likely would have won the game anyway (our defense was really bad in those situations). We needed that first down to run out the clock and maybe even get the TD that most likely would have sealed the win.

I couldn't remember, thanks.
Wow...how brutal is that!
A first down inside the two and you'd think there's a strong chance a of TD there, and with almost no time afterward.
Oh well, like I said, it was (in football terms) a lifetime ago.

My supervisor is ignant Cowboys fan. He said "until Romo matures and stops wearing that hat backwards we aren't winning anything." He goes even further and every time he sees me in the hallway "ready for the scheduled Dec. Rone choke!" Can't say much but one of these days I will punch him.

I talked to one supposed Cowboys fan who seemed to think the year we went 13-3 that we lost all three games in December :p

Or that Romo's bobbled snap cost us a game away from the Superbowl...Yes this is a true story.

Sadly, the Romo criticism will never end until he hoists said trophy high above his head.

I don't argue anymore. Let the pundits type and say whatever makes them feel good about themselves.

At the end of the day, he's an NFL QB, and they will never be.

He's a multi millionaire, and they will never be.

Here's another one which I just hate. The Romo December woes. What a crock.

The team yes - Romo...

December pass rating of 107.0 over the past six seasons - BEST IN THE NFL (and that's not counting this year could be 110!)

Don't let idiots slide on this stuff. I pointed out yesterday I tweet media people all the time and correct them and some have responded they had no idea about that. The world is full of sheep who follow blindly right off the cliff.

In the age of a dumbed down society, if they say it on TV, then it must be true.

I see it manifest itself every day at work. People come in and repeat verbatim whatever they hear on TV without doing any critical analysis or thinking.

Just like it drives me crazy how we follow after every foolish thing SAS has to say about the Cowboys. It doesn't take ANY critical thinking to disqualify his rhetoric. After, let's say 10 times, people would get he's not a credible source.

2007 does and forever will forever haunt this franchise in my opinion. No question we had the best team in the NFC. We would have gone to the Super Bowl had we beat the Giants. And the funny thing is...we beat them in ever statiscal category EXCEPT the scoreboard that day (Jacques Reeves was horrendous!). Had we made the super Bowl that year......Romo....with the numbers he has put up....assuming we are going to make some noice in the playoffs this year....with the next 2 - 3 years looking promising.....Romo would be knocking on the HOF door.

I have a coworker Cowboys fan just like that. At the beginning of the year his take was "we need a QB". I have no tolerance for any Cowboys fan who steps to me with that foolishness. You should see him this week....he could open a store with all the new Cowboys gear he has.

That Tony Romo HAS actually won a playoff game? Now that we're postseason relevant again, I'm noticing this awful omission from the average football fan. Barbershop, water cooler, even some TV pundits seem to miss this as they STILL ramble on about "how he can't win in the playoffs....will choke.. etc.." Even more maddening is the Seattle bobbled snap is STILL being brought up... Lol. Am I the only one noticing that people miss this about Romo? I find it laughable.
It actually seems to me that the AVERAGE Cowboys fan has extremely lowered expectations. Some fans really don't actually want to see this team win a Super Bowl. Romo is a grown man and doesn't need whinny fans fighting his battles. The expectation is to win the Super Bowl. Isn't that the goal? If you're not going to or can't win a bowl, then you're Danny White to me.

If you tried to list all of the things the average football fan doesn't know, you would end up with more text than is in all of the library of Congress.

Not only that, but I've seen Lebatard (sp?) make up how many playoff games he's lost in addition to claiming he hasn't won any. I think he said Romo was 0-7 or some crap. God, I want Romo and the Cowboys to pee in these haters Wheaties and win it all.

One playoff win isn't enough for the Tony haters, until he wins a sb, or at least gets to one, they will be there.

Exactly SB anytime someone like SAS say that Mark Sanchez is comparable to Romo needs to be punched in the face seriously. And I found this out from a fellow Cowboys fan friend of mine who says he watches First Take just to see SAS make a fool of himself and he also knows the vast disdain I have for that abomination of a show and refuse to watch whether the Cowboys win or not. As you well know a lot of lazy fans of the Cowboys, or other teams actually would believe that Sanchez is similar to Romo because SAS said so and we both know that Sanchez is nowhere near the QB Romo is and the Eagles would sell their own mother to have him at QB. This internet age make most of us lazy and pretentious when it comes to critical analysis as you say well done.
